The Beginning

Sequence Two.

"We are heading to New York City, where we will find Haytham and Shay according to Achilles. " Connor says to me. I nod and follow. As we make our journey to New York city we avoid contact with  any person we see. The main trails were filled with red coats so we hid in the trees. Hoping from one tree to the other. We eventually make our way to the trails when we notice there are no more redcoats. We then finally make it to New York City. "Where shall we go look Connor?" I ask. He looks around at all the buildings a people.  "lets go our separate ways for now, and go and eavesdrop on some redcoats. They might give some information on where they might be or what is going on at the moment. We will meet back up in a few hours to give each other some information we found. If they are not here, we will find them." Connor says. I nod. We then both head our separate way. I've never been to New York City before. Now I'm here for the first time also doing a first time mission as an assassin. I run up to a building a climb up to get on top of the room. Maybe I can get a better view of the city from up here to see who I can go eavesdrop on. I look around at the group of guards and people. Over by the church I see a group of guards talking looking around nervously. Hmm.. Those redcoats are up to something. I pull my hood up and jump down from the roof. I make my way to the church hiding through groups of people so I am not seen.  As I got as close as I can, I go sit down between two people and listen to the guards. "The Templars ordered us to kill those who get close to the cave that's located outside of town" One guard said. "Do we need to head there?" the other one said. "No , the Templars already have guards over there. We just need to walk around town for unwanted people who look suspicious." He said. That's all the information I needed for now. What's in that cave though.. I need to find Connor and tell him about this cave. We need to discuss how  to get inside without the guards knowing. I run around town looking for him, that's when I see him sitting by some people talking. I walk over to him. "Connor we need to talk" I say. "I have some information too Tristan. Lets go where there is some privacy. I found an old abandoned boat over by a dock, we can go there and talk. " He says. We make our way to the boat and we go and sit on it. We both pull our hoods down. "I'll talk first, Some people I spoke with kept talking about an artifact. This artifact is scroll that has a map on it. I'm not sure where the scroll is located though. " Connor says. "Well Connor, lucky enough I found some suspicious guards talking about a cave that's outside of town, but the cave is surrounded by redcoats. Templars don't want anyone going into that cave. I'm pretty sure that artifact you are talking about is located somewhere in that cave. So, depending on how big the cave is we might find the scroll before them. I doubt our fathers are here too... They know assassins are coming back so they have the guards there. " I say. "Good job on your first mission Tristan! Achilles will be proud. Well let's go to that cave now and find away in before it's to late. Then maybe that map can lead to where ever the Templars want. What ever it is , it's very important to them. " Connor says. We then make our way to the out of town and look for that cave.
