"Annnnnd I finished the epilogue!" Christie squealed excitedly. She had finally finished her multi-chapter story of her OTP, which was a long tale of friendship, trust, and love. She wished she had someone to share this victory over, but she didn't have many friends, and she wasn't close to anyone. Try as she might, people just constantly picked their other friends over her. Sighing, Christie hoped that some day, she would have someone who would share in her victories and comfort her when she was sad.
"Oh, crap! It's nearly midnight!" she whisper-yelled. Tomorrow was Monday, and she needed to get some sleep for school. She turned out the light, and got in bed. Sleep-deprived as she was, she fell asleep quickly into a dreamless sleep.
When she woke up the next morning, she looked at the clock and sighed blissfully. She still had a minute or two to lay in bed and be alone with her thoughts before having to get up for school. She rolled over, and nearly screamed. Something- or rather, someone was laying next to her. While her first reaction was fear, her second reaction was wow, he's pretty cute. Then her third reaction was disgust at her second reaction. Christie poked the boy, and jolted upright. Her hand had gone through his body. Suddenly her alarm started blaring. She quickly turned it off, but started to feel more fearful. This wasn't a dream; her alarm confirmed that.
Hey guys! Sorry for the short chapter. Since this is only the first one, I'm not exactly how this is going to go; the chapters may be shorter but more frequent, or they may get longer as the story progresses. I'll have to play it by ear.
