Chapter 5

When I got home I walked up the stairs and collapsed onto the bed. Then my mom came bursting into my room.

Me: tf is wrong with you.

Mom: WHO YOU TALKING TO.

me: the only person in the room.

Mom: aaliyah imma act like you didn't say that. How was your first day of school.

Me: it was poppin. I whipped this girl ass.

Mom: why?! It was your first day. You shouldn't be fighting.

Me: the hoe should of minded her business.

Mom: anyways your father has to go back to Atlanta for a month and I have to go on a trip to New Jersey so I'm going to be gone for a month too.

Me: ok.

Mom: since I don't want you to feel alone I got you a surprise.

Just when she said that my dad walked in with a little Yorkie.

Me: awww. It's so cute.

Dad: glad you like you.

Me: oh guys. My friends are coming over tonight.

Mom: what are these girls names.

Me: it's my boyfriend but it might invite my girl friends n there boyfriend.

Mom: ok honey. Just be careful.

Dad: you better tell that boy to keep his hands to his self.

Mom: oh honey. She's 17. She can handle her self.

I laughed.

Me: when do you guys leave?

Mom: now. Bye.

Then ran out the room n I saw the car speed off. Well damn.

I went into the bathroom and freshened up. I then put on some black shorts. And some black socks with a pink shirt. I put my hair into a bun n texted my friends.

Text convo:

Me: roc you still coming

Doublerbandz: yes baby. I'm almost there.

I was creeped out cause I never gave him a address

Me: ok.

I then went downstairs and saw three 4 envelopes on the counter. The first one was a letter from my mom.

Dear aaliyah,

The house is fully paid for so you don't have to worry about expenses. Your father n ill will be back in a month.... Or too. We left you money in the envelopes. Have fun. Not too much fun tho.

Love mom,

I rolled my eyes n picked up an envelope that said gas money. It had 600 dollars in it. The next envelope was labeled food. It had 1500 dollars in it. The last one was labeled fun. It had 2000 dollars in it. I collected the money n put it in a safe place. Just then my doorbell rang. I answered it.

Roc: hey boo.

Me: lol hey roc.

He greeted me with a kiss and I led him upstairs.

Roc: oh it's that type of party ;).

Me: lol boy you funny. But no 😒.

Roc rolled his eyes n sucked his teeth.

We sat on my bed n cuddled. We mostly just talked to each other. He made me laugh all night.. Then we heard the sound of glass breaking.

Me: tf was that.

Roc: I don't know go check it out.

I hit roc in his chest. Punk ass.

We slowly walked downstairs. My window was busted on my car.

Me: wtf !!

I looked at my car and on my windows that weren't busted it said. Leave roc alone or you will pay.

Me: roc one of your hoes are playing games and I don't got time for it.

Roc: baby listen I don't know who could of done this.

Me: JADA.

ROC POV :

As soon as she said jadas name I got annoyed. I saw aaliyah run into her house. I ran after her. She was upstairs putting her hair in a bun and getting ready to fight.

Me: aaliyah what are you doing ??

Aaliyah: I'm about to go find her and whoop her ass. !!

Me: stop and sit your little ass down.

She rolled her eyes and folded her arms. Then sat on the bed.

After 20 minutes of arguing with her. She calmed down then she fell asleep in my arms. Thank god she didn't go fight jada again.
