From: Butterfly
She shines for everybody, but more brightly for me,
She comes into its definite shape, size and pigment,
She sometimes appears when Father Moon is seen.
Her name is Star, a lovely ornament of heavens.
She served matchlessly in Jesus’ history,
She led the shepherds to baby Jesus who’s on a crib,
She may have been happy when they’ve finally seen Him,
My Savior who would set the whole world free.
She comes at night with some of her friends
But She’s unique for me, I couldn’t comprehend
In the multitudes of them Hers I could see from an end
Her name is Star, the brightest out from a blend.
She’s older than her yesterday,
Thank God for another opportunity He’d shared
I could still have Star yet in my despair
A faithful friend and a Star from Heavens.
