Pitbulls

I was just watching the news and I saw a story about a pitbull eating a woman who was dead. They're still figuring out if it was the dog who did it or if the woman died by natural causes and the pitbull came later. I hate it when I hear stories like this because yes, the dog was a pitbull, but it could have been any other dog breed! People show pitbulls as mean spirited dogs! In the news, they brought up the news about banning all pitbulls in the area that I live in!!!!! Like wtf? What type of society do we live in??!!! This is the definition of injustice and unfairness. The so called 'law' is just like when the african-americans were forced into slavery. It's descrimination! Pitbulls are just like other dogs, they are just viewed as these horrible creatures! A true pitbull is just like any other breed of dog. He/she is loyal and kind and all the dog asks is for love and care. It's bad breeding and the owners. These people make it look like it's the dog's fault! We are the problem! Us! But we'd never admit it, because we are selfish. I can understand people who might me selfish or rude or mean, and I can try to understand and forgive them, but when someone is cruel to an animal, there is no way over my dead body woul I ever forgive that person. Animals don't have a voice in this society, so we need to be their voice. We cannot let other humans abuse animals! Our society is bad enough that we abuse eachother, our own kind, but abusing animals, to me, is unforgivable. This pitbull problem is just like the german shepherds. They used to be the breed of dog that was seen as cruel. Will there always be a breed of dog that is frowned upon? I find it as a disgrace to mankind that humans think bad thoughts on a type of thing. Whether if it's dogs or cats or animals or human. It just makes me angry when I hear that people actually think about banning a certain breed of dog. What's next? Let's make a law to ban vegetables! That's what banning pitbulls sounds like to me! I know maybe those who might read this chapter might think I'm some crazy animal rights activist, but I'm just speaking for the voiceless. And right now, that's the animals. If you don't believe me, well I'm sorry. If this whole speech thingy meant nothing to you, I'm sorry. I am truly sorry for those who don't see the problem here. The problem is us. There. Simple. Right there in front of you. We need to change our way that society sees things, because if we don't, who will? For this chapter, I'm going to change the quote.
-judge the deed, not the breed. So give a pitbull a try, before you sentence them all to die
