(Jasmine's POV)

"OMG, Stacey this black eye shadow makes your blue eyes pop!" I exclaimed.

Right now I am at my best friend's Michelle's house along with my other bestie Stacey. We are quickly getting ready to go to a club. You are probably wondering how three seventeen year old girls are getting ready to go to a club without their parents knowing, right? The answer is quite simple. Since all our parents trust us, we were able to get them to let us "sleepover" at Michelle's huge mansion while her parents were away on a cruise for their 22nd anniversary which means no one is there to stop us from going to the club.

We all looked at our reflection from the full length mirror on the wall and must I say, we all looked drop dead gorgeous. My blonde hair was curled perfectly down to my back and my black non sleeved mini dress sparkled in the light which had went well with my black high heeled stilettos. My green eyes shined brightly as I gazed upon myself. Stacey was wearing a blue halter top along with black skinny jeans and blue pumps. Her brown hair was straightened down to her shoulders. To my left, Michelle was wearing an over the shoulder red mini dress with matching red heels. Her black hair was wavy and her bangs covered her grey eyes.

"Damn, we look sexy," Stacey stated.

"I agree. Come on, let's go," I said.

As we were making our way to the bedroom door, the lights went out.

"Ahh!" Stacey screamed behind me.

"Shut up Stacey!" I yelled at here, "Michelle, do you have any flashlights in here?

"Yep in the drawer," she said stumbling towards one of her many drawers.

Michelle took out three flashlights and gave us each one.

"I guess we're not going clubbing anymore, "Stacey stated sadly as we all made our way towards Michelle's huge four post bed.

After a few minutes, Stacey finally spoke up," Guys, I have to use the bathroom."

"Okay. But you have to use the one in the hallway since the one here isn't working," Michelle spoke.

"Kay," Stacey said getting up while taking a flashlight.

(Stacey's POV)

I walked down the dark hallway holding the flashlight shakily. Something just seems off...Why is there a blackout in the middle of spring and more importantly, in New Jersey? I quickly dismissed all those thoughts from my head as I walked closer to the bathroom door. I noticed that it was opened ajar. Hmm.... I could have sworn that all doors were closed in the hallway. Maybe I might just be wrong.

I walked into the bathroom and closed the door behind me. But right in front of me I saw a tall man wearing a mask and holding a knife looking menacing. He looked like he was around 18 and be very handsome. I soon screamed as he lunged toward me and a few seconds later, I was overcome by darkness.

(Jasmine's POV)

"Ahh," Michelle and I heard a loud blood calling scream.

"Stacey." we both said panicky as we ran in the hallway.

As we were coming toward the bathroom, we notice that the door was wide open and had blood dripping from the doorknob slowly on the floor.

"No," I whispered to myself scared out of my wits right now.

Michelle and I held onto each other as we made our way into the bathroom. The sight that we saw was gruesome. On the tiled floor, there was a trail of blood leading to the bathtub which was covered with the blind. By then my face must have been white as a ghost as we hesitantly walked up to the tub. Michelle pushed away the blind and we both gasped at what we saw.

Lying in the tub in her own pool of blood was Stacey. Her eyes were wide open, just looking terrified and haunted. Her stomach was gashed open, her head was bleeding profusely as if it was banged against a hard surface, and her dead. Michelle broke down sobbing on the blood covered floor. I just stood there in a shock as realization dawned down on me.

There's a killer in this house........
