(VIOLETS POV)
Running down the hall, making my way to the bathroom before I burst out crying mainly out of anger and frustration
I can't believe she thinks that of me, her out of all people, she should know that all I care for is getting into Stanford and that is it! That's when I can start living
I slow down to a walk, going past a couple rows of blue lockers to turn to left where the girls toilets are, turning left I bumb into someone, who instantly wraps their arm around me
"Violet what's wrong?"
The voice sounding familiar I look up and realise it's my cousin Jamie, instantly after I recognise him, I break down in tears leading him to hugging me tighter
He continues to ask me what the problem is but I can't bring myself to answer him, I just continue crying for the loss of my closest friend, who turned out not to care for me at all.
"Ava and I aren't friends anymore" I replied
"What? Why?" Jamie asked surprised raising his dark blonde eyebrows
"It's a long story, she basically picked her boyfriend over me" I replied whilst wiping my eyes
"I always knew she was a bïtch, come hang out with me and the guys" he said smiling
He started walking pulling my hand so I walk with him.
Jamie is far from innocent, you could say that he is quite the bad boy gets himself into trouble quite often which is why I didn't explain the whole story to him, If he knew that Kevin drugged me he would probably beat his skull in.

Kicking the old fire exit door open he leads me towards the back of the bleachers and puts his arm around my shoulder, while explaining really happily how he hit on a girl using a really stupid pick up line that actually worked
"I said how about I take you to my place I'll cook dinner if u cook breakfast and she said yes, so basically, mans getting a little sexy time tonight"
Shaking my head, laughing at how pathetic it was I look up and the first thing I see is Elliot with his hands clenched and his nostrils flaring, anyone could clearly see he was angry; if a normal person were to see him like this they'd back away, but I just want to wrap my arms around him and kiss him on the cheek.

(ELLIOTS POV)
Sudden rage flows through me I clench my hands as the anger takes over me, what the fück is Jamie doing with Violet, she is mine, she starts laughing beautifully at something Jamie said and for a second my heart flutters at her entrancing laugh, a moment later I am filled with the want to torture Jamie for trying to steal her!
Running up to him and grabbing him roughly by his black shirt I get ready to punch him with all my might
"Elliot he is my cousin! What are you doing?!" Violet screamed
I turn my head to the right and stare into her brown eyes
"He is ?" I reply with relief
"Yes, don't do anything let him go" she pleaded
I let go of his shirt and rub his upper chest to wipe the crease I created, turning to face Violet and I cup her hands
" I'm sorry Violet, I just got really confused and worried" I said truthfully
"It's okay" she smiled giving me the perfect view of her straight white teeth and I think to myself if I haven't fallen in love with her already, I just have now and smile back.
" I love that you are here, but why are you here, you're always in the canteen with Ava, did something happen?" I asked
"Yeah, how about we go to the police station now, and I tell you along the way?" She suggested
"Let's go babe" I said winking and pulling her hand, making her walk at the same pace as me.
