Chapter 1 A Puzzle

"Is your dad always like that I mean seriously what is his problem," Lizzie was said as we walked to school. "He's just very protective of my family and me," I said to her in a sarcastic tone. "If he was being protective he would be following you to school everyday," Lizzie pronounced. "Liz look behind the bush over there," I said to her. Liz thinks that she could win this argument, but I always have the ability to come back it's just how I am. "OMG he followed us to school." Liz over exaggerated things like that but I new all along. If she figured out before now I'd be walking to school alone every day. "Look it's jack, also known as... I put my hand over her mouth and said "he's still standing right there." Then jack waved his hand for us to catch up with him. We ran as fast as we could which for me was really fast because it took me three minutes to run a mile. When we got up the hill to him I looked back to wave by to my dad like I do every day but he was gone. Me and jack talked on the way to class and if you want me to finish Lizzie's sentence the rest is your boyfriend, so yeah jack is my boyfriend. That's when things start to get weird. "WHAT IS THAT?" Lizzie screamed.

"I have no idea but we need to get out of here," I said. Jack go find Walt tell that y'all are going to meet us at my hideout," I said to him then I gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Liz we have to get to the hide out," I screamed towards her. "Let's go, right now,"Liz screamed back.
As we ran to the hideout( which is an underground shelter) it started to thunder. The weird thing they appeared in the sky was looking for someone and I didn't know who or why. If we made it to the shelter without it recognizing us we could solve this puzzle. The one thing my friends like best about is that I know how to not get seen and I am really good at solving puzzles. We ran for our lives and in a matter of minutes we were at the hideout. I left the key in my bedroom and the front door was locked, my mom was at work, my dad wasn't home either, therefore I had to climb in through my window which was on the second floor. Once I had received the key I unlocked the door and we were safely inside. A few moments later there was a nock on the door I looked to see who it was and it was Jack and Walt. I unlocked the door and let them in.
We tried to chat but it was to weird so we just sat in quiet( not exactly quiet there was a lot of racket outside). I went over to my computer and it still seemed to work, so I did what I usually did I texted my mom for help. She told me that I needed to look at the family history on www.fairyhistoryjjj.com and she told me there was a password that was fairly realm 4645.
Once I was logged in I searched my name and I saw that my grandma( who I had never met before) was the weird fairy thing outside. That was the answer to the puzzle
I went to go and tell my friends that the fairy (which is what I now know what it is) is my grandma and is probably looking for me. "No way," jack said "that thing is wicked terrible ...," " my grandma, jerk,"I said. " Well yeah that to but your not anything like that thing Kay I mean think about this you don't have wings or powers and you live on earth," Jack said to me in a very impolite tone. "You know you can't win an argument against me I'm the best in debate class," I said to him in an even ruder tone." I don't have wings because my mom has the power to change fairies into humans, I don't have powers because you have to learn what they are before you can use them, and last of all I'm on earth because the fairy realm was put under a spell by the queen where no one could leave to earth but my mom managed to get out in time," "alright you win," jack said in a very amazed tone" how do you know all this stuff," he asked. " Well it just comes to me when I'm in an argument," I replied. " Well if you can do that why don't you argue better with your parents when they tell you you can't go to the dance or you can't go to my sleepover. I mean this is serious you could have had a good junior year but, now the year is almost over and you missed it all," Lizzie said with tears streaming down her face. " Babe don't be like that it isn't her fault if you were in her shoes wouldn't you want a supportive friend at your side," Walt said in a generous tone. " I guess your right Walt I should stay at Kay's side no matter what anyone else says," Liz said. " Thanks Liz that is very considerate of you now all we have to do is go to the fairy queen and tell her that I'm her granddaughter and I want to help her save the fairy realm." " Wait you didn't mention that she was the fairy queen Kay I'm not so sure about this what if she doesn't believe you or she wants to kill you and didn't actually want your help should I keep going," Jack asked. " No we get the point that you over react to every single thing,"I said. BANG BANG BANG!!! "WHAT IS THAT," we all screamed at once.
