Kylie POV
My alarm buzzed in my ear loudly. It read 8:35 I was late for school. I rushed out of my bed.
"MOM WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UP ?" I yelled even though I knew she probably didn't come home after her date with Jim or maybe it was Evan honestly I couldn't keep track anymore.
I rushed to my bathroom and showered quickly. I threw on a pink hoodie my converse and a black pair of jeans. Makeup and hair were not an option today. My phone rung in my back pocket as I was walking out my bedroom and down my stairs.
"Hello ? " I answered as I rushed out my house grabbing my keys.
"Hey. Where you at ? Class is about to start." Grayson my best friend well one of them said through the phone. We had been friends since preschool we practically grown up together it was always me and him and our other best friends Reece, Jocelyn, Brendon,and Nicole.
"I'm on my way. I woke up late." I said to him
"Alright see ya in a bit" Grayson said.
"See ya in a bit..." I hung up and started my car.

I got to school right when the bell rang. My first class was gym with my best friends. We got lucky this year with our first period together. I ran into gym class just in time. Just as I reached for the door Brendon came running around the corner.
"Kyle ! Whoa why aren't you in class ?" He looked flustered.
"I could ask you the same thing Taylor." I responded.
We walked into class together. Everyone was seated on the floor while Coach Thomas was going on about something. The door slammed behind us.
"Why are you two late ?!" Coach T. Said to me and Brendon
"Uhhhhh.." I stammered
"The Queen is never late everyone else is just simply early" Brendon said in a British accent . Everyone began to laugh. Brendon is known for his witty remarks he might even be the funniest person I've met.
"Enough of that Mr.Taylor both of you go get changed and take a seat."
"Only for you my King" Brendon said before turning to head to the boys locker room.
"Today Kids we will play a little friendly game of dodgeball. Get pumped !"
