Chapter 2 My destiny

"Yeah?" I asked mom. "Take the trash out!" I nodded my head and did such that. As I walked out with the trash, I kept thinking of that guy pointing at me. Why was he pointing at me? I don't understand it, but in time may tell me exactly what is going on here. I put the trash in the bin and went and sat on my bed. I felt like I was getting a headache, but not as bad as I thought it would be. I laid down and fell asleep, hoping this headache would go away in the time. I laid there for a little bit, my eyes closed. My eyes opened up in some dark place, it felt real, but looked as a dream. I could only see, I wasn't moving around. All of a sudden, he appeared again. But, this time he was standing on a roof, watching over a city. He had his fists clenched, his belt in the wind, his eyes looking up at the sun. *SHWEW* The picture changed. He was now standing in front of a 100 people, almost like they hated him. He looked sad and depressed, almost as if he gave up. *SHWEW* The picture changed again. This time he was facin-Oh MY GOD, they are not human! He was on one knee, in front of a demon looking thing. But, this time, his eyes were brown, the exact color of mine. *SHWEW* The picture is changing every few minutes. Now he's just sitting against a brick wall on a roof. He was hurt, like he had been shot, right under his heart. He was holding his side, where he had been shot. The odd thing was, he was unmasked, but I couldn't fully see his face. I just saw his lips and him, he had smile on. It wasn't some evil, or crude smile. It was a warm, bright, welcoming smile. It made me feel like everything was going to be alright. "Hey!" My eyes opened, it was time for school. I got up and got dressed and made it to a school about an hour later. "Austin!" Shane said. "Hi." I said to him. Andrew came over and asked "So, how's the morning going?" I rubbed my eyes and said "Ah, like every other morning. Tired, but excited to be here!" He nodded his head up and down and said "I know how ya feel." *RING* The bell had rung for 1st. I went on over and my teacher wasn't there. I was right in front of Mrs. Wrights room. I went in and talked to her about all of this. "Hey, Austin!" She said with a big smile. "Hey." She could tell something was a matter with me. "What's wrong?" She asked with a little bit of sadness in the tone of her voice. She knew I was always happy and a hyped up person, I was, but now, everything's changed. "Can we close your door, I don't want anyone else to know about this." She nodded her head and got up and went and closed the door. She came back and sat down Now, tell me!" I put my stuff on the table and sat down in front of her desk. "You remember when I went to the hospital for a few days?" I asked. "Yeah, what exactly happened?" She asked. "I was helping people start a car up, they were in a hurry. So, I tried to hurry as well." She nodded her head as I kept going on "But, when I tried to hurry...The jumping cables jumped back and shocked over 1000 watts inside all of my body!" She was SCHOCKED to hear that. She put her hand over her mouth and said "Austin, you're lucky to be alive!" I nodded my head up and down and said "I know, but instead of it killing me, it did something that no one can believe." She moved over a little more from her computer and asked "What do you mean, no one can believe?" I slowly looked up at her and said "Instead of it frying my brain, it somehow...enhanced it!" She gave me an odd look and said "So, like smarter? Or wiser? What?" I shook my head and said "No, I can almost predict the future! Pretty much see things right before they happen, kind of like I can see things coming in slow motion. Someone's gonna knock on the door in 2 seconds ." *KNOCK* *KNOCK* Mrs. Wright almost freaked out. "How...ho-how did you do that? Can you see all the way into the future?!" I stood up and said "I can only see maybe 2 seconds into the future, only when I really concentrate." She scratched the top of her, confused. "I just don't see how?" She said confused as no other. "But, how do I know you didn't just set a time for them to come knock on a door?" I started really concentrating "Your clocks gonna fall, NOW!" *CRACK* The clock fell and broke. She just couldn't believe it at all. She put both of her hands over her mouth and nose, completely amazed. "The odd thing was, the clock was already falling, I just saw in a slower motion than you did." I said. "That's...just...wow!" She was just astounded. "I came to talk to you about something else, though." I said to her. She sat back down and went "Ok, tell me!" She was still a little frightened about all this. "It all started Wednesday morning. I was sleeping and had a dream of some man, dressed all in black. You could only see his eyes and fingers. He was sitting against a tree, he was dying." She thought I was going crazy "The thing that confuses me...He had a smile on his face, while blood was coming out his gut." She just shook her head thinking of that "I had the dream the day I was shocked by the jumping cables. After a few days later, getting out of the hospital, I saw him again. I was standing in my bathroom looking in the mirror...he kept pointing at me, no matter which way I turned, he wanted me!" She sat there thinking either "He's gone crazy, or something isn't right!" I didn't really know either. "And then last night, I had more dreams about him. But, this time, he was fighting demons, fighting the whole world, he was dying again, but this time on a rooftop against a brick wall. And that's all that I've seen so far. Do you have any clue what this means?" She rubbed her chin and said "Something's trying to tell you something, that's all I really know right now!" She still couldn't figure it out "Is there anymore details about him?" I sat there thinking "Oh, his eyes were sometimes green, but then brown, just like mine!" She shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know, Austin, but hopefully time will tell exactly what's going on here." I nodded my head and said "Yeah, hopefully it does." I got up and started walking out "Austin!" I looked back over at her "What do you plan on doing with these powers that you now posses?" I smiled and said "Anything that can help those I love...which is everyone!" I walked on out, Mrs. Wright just smiled and said "Good!" A few hours later passed on by, it was time to go home. I sat on the right side of the bus, looking out the window. While we were passing by an old building, I saw something on a roof...it was him. My eyes opened up widely. He looked down right at me and held up a sign "Are you ready?" I was very confused and afraid, but he knew that. He held up another sign, it said "Do not be afraid, for I am you!" I was completely shocked "What?" He slowly started taking his mask off...It was me! I gasped and put my hand over my mouth. He smiled at me, or I smiled at me, I don't know! I shook my head and looked back, he was gone. A few minutes later, I arrived home. I went in and as soon as I did, I heard someone pull up in my driveway. It was a UPS man. I went out and they said "Package for Austin Jordan?" I nodded my head and said "Yeah, that's me, but I didn't order anything?" He shrugged his shoulders and said "It's this address, so here ya go!" He left quickly. I went in with the package in my hand and went straight to my bedroom and opened it up. What I saw...I'll never forget. It was the exact uniform of the guy I've been seeing in every dream, the guy that was on the building, I saw what I was wearing. I almost couldn't take it, it was so shocking. I turned the uniform around, it had a sticky note on it. It said "Austin, this is you! You've now got the power to help those you love and want to protect, but you can't give yourself away! Use this uniform to hide your true identity, but fight against what you hate the most! I just hope you make the right choice!" I just shook my head, I couldn't believe it. A few hours later passed by, I sat on the edge of my bed thinking "How am I going to do this?!" My window was a open, another sticky note blew in from the wind. "NOW!" The sticky note said. I looked down at my hands and clenched my fists and said "I guess now is better than never!" I looked over at the uniform and said "Let's do this!" I put the uniform on slowly, I felt something sharp in my legs and back. I reached inside the costume and pulled out everything "Damn!" I pulled out a sword, shurikens, and even kunai's. "How did I not see any of this?" I asked myself. I put everything on and went outside. There was on old building that caught on fire that leads to a roof that's still In good condition. I went to that old building. I When I got to the top, I had my mask in my hand. I looked down at my mask and back up to the sun shining over the building, it was a beautiful day. I  put everything on and now it was just my mask. "It's time to do this, finally time to protect and love them, time to live my dream!" I slowly walked out as I put my mask over my had and face. I looked straight up to the sky, it was just a perfect moment. I could feel my belt blowing in the wind. I just felt free and happy, and just overwhelming with joy. So, I started jumping from building to building, and practicing fighting and getting stronger. Push-ups, sit-ups, Stretching constantly to get more flexible and to have more endurance by running. After a good workout, I walked over to an edge of an building. I saw over the city, everything was peaceful, but then..."HELP"
