I was almost done but I was having some trouble moving my couch and coffee table in the doors and in to the living room. Just then a lady with long black hair , and orange yellow tinted eyes, walked up to me. I just assumed she was my neighbor. "Hi! I'm y/n, I'm new in town! I assume you're my new neighbor?" "Yeah!" She said, "I'm Aphmau! You can call me Aph. Um, looks like you could use some help, huh?" She chuckles. She picked up a side of the couch without hesitation. "Here, you get that side." "Okay." She's pretty strong I must say. Together we moved the rest of the lingering pieces of furniture inside. I took off my hat and turned around to see Aph staring at me. "Something the matter?" I ask her. She clutched my arm in her hand and pulled me to the mirror in the corner of the room. "Look!" She points at the mirror, her eyes wide. "My. . . Ears?" I was confused. "They're real?!" I nodded at her. "Can I, touch them?" She asked. I bent down and smiled. "Be my guest." She stroked my ears with her finger. I took the jacket off from around my waist, revealing my tail. "Wow, that's really something." Her phone, sitting on the shelf, made a sound and the screen illuminated. I saw the name 'Garroth Romeave' appear across the phone.
"Hey, I got to go. It was so nice meeting you, my friend needs me." "Wait! Can I come with you? Garroth was my best friend in high school. I was deviated when I had to leave for college. I haven't seen him since I left." I explained to her. "That's amazing! What a small world, of course you can come with! He'll be so happy to see you!"
We walked across the street and Aph knocked on the door. I was SO EXCITED to see my old best friend! Zane and I hung out a lot, but not as much as my other friends. I had sort of a huge crush on Zane, and I think he liked me, but I wasn't sure. Garroth opened the door and his eyes grew large and I smiled.
"Hi Garroth." "Y/N. . ." Then he grabbed me and hugged me tightly. "Y/N. I missed you so much."
