Chapter One: The Abusive Parents

"THAT'S IT SHE IS GONE , SHE IS DEAD TO ME, I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH HER SHE'S JUST A FUCK UP", my father yells my mom every morning.

" YOU THINK I DON'T KNOW THAT, I WANT HER DEAD AS MUCH AS YOU DO SO DON'T YELL AT ME ABOUT IT", my mother replies every time.

"If we make her life so miserable then she might kill herself if we go too far, and we want her dead, she's just a fuck up, we want her dead.", my father says as my mother agrees.

*This one day out of all the others before* My big brother then comes into the conversation, "why do you guys always have the same fight every morning, why do you both hate her she is your real daughter I was the one you two adopted!"

"Yes but so-"

"Don't call me your son, I am not your son, I care more about Chloe then you both do, and you will never be there for her but I will. So don't you call me son, I am not your son, call me by my real name!"

"Ok Chris, I want a son that is brave and strong like you but I think it would be nice if you had a brother!"

"Maybe I don't want a brother maybe I just want Chloe to be my sister, and if you want brave you got brave, Chloe is more brave than you and me!'

"Chris she is not more brave than you or me, you are in the military an-"

"Yes I might be in the military but you know what when I get back from my next place in a week I will no longer be in the military, and you know what. I will even try to get out before then so I can protect Chloe for you two!"

"How are you gonna protect Chloe all the time, you will need a job."

"I will figure it out, now I am going to my girlfriends and I am bring Chloe with me."

"NO YOU WILL NOT!"

"YES I WILL I AM 20 SO I CAN DO WHAT I WANT I AM A ADULT!"

"Fine take Chloe she's useless anyways."

"Never talk about Chloe like that ever again or I will get the police and I really mean it you know my girlfriend is a cop, bye!"

My brother then comes up the stairs and goes into my room with a pissed off face.

"Come on get some stuff you and me are leaving for a while."

"Are you mad at me Chris?"

"No no no I could never be mad at you Chloe you are like a best friend to me that I could never be mad at but also my sister, it's mom and dad who has ticked me off so I am going to my girlfriend's place and your coming and I will protect you."

"Thank you Chris your the best big brother ever!"

"On the way there I will get you some video games, I know how much you would love some."

" REALLY, OH MY GOD YOU ARE THE BEST BIG BROTHER EVER!!!!"

"No I am just a big brother that cares about his little 6 year old sister, now let's go before something bad happens."

As we go to Chris's girlfriends house, Bella, Chloe gets a Game boy. Bella and Chris has been together for 2 years. Bella always loves it when Chris brings Chloe over. When Chloe is over it's Bella gets to be really really crazy, and Chloe always loved going there, Bella would always make her laugh even if I was feeling really sad.

"Hey Chris, Hey Chloe, what a surprise seeing you guys, come in come in have a seat"

"So Chris and Chloe why are you two here?"

"Because Bella Chloe's Parents which are the people who adopted me are being assholes again and I am tired of what they are doing to Chloe. So I thought maybe Chloe can stay here?"

"She can stay here till you go back to the military."

"Why not after I leave?"

"Because I have a job to, I am sorry I really am but when you leave she has to go back."

"Ok I just want her to be safe."

"She will I will check on her every day If you want me to?"

"That would be really nice of you thank you so much!"

"It's no problem. Now Chloe it's almost 3 PM what do you want to do?"

"COPS AND ROBBERS!!!"

I love the game of cops and robbers with Bella. It is super fun! When it was bedtime I got to eat lots of candy and when I eats too much candy I go right to sleep so it's a great snack for her at night and the only time she gets chocolate is a Bella's house. After I eat some chocolate I pass out on the couch.
