Chapter 1: WHAT?!

first chapter of LMU, hopes you guys enjoy! ^^ please tell me if you like this book or not and some critism would be greatly appreciated ^^ 

Misaki's P.O.V

"The Stars lean down to kiss you, as i lay awake and miss.." I opened my eyes the the sound of Vanilla Twilight, my ringtone. I pressed down on my iphone's button and put it on speaker. "Hey hey hey GirlFriend!" the sound of Kazumi's, my best friend's, voice came from my cellphone. 

"Ag Kazumi! I was just having the greatest dream ever! Couldn't you let me sleep?! " i moaned rolling over in my bed. "What was it about? dreaming of Kaede again? Want him to finally be your prince?" she teased. I threw my pillow at the phone, knocking it off my bed side table and onto the carpet below. "Shut up Kazumi!" I shouted between laughs. "You know i'd dream of nothing but the opposite of that!" 

Okay..maybe that was 100% true.. I rolled onto my back to stare up at the blank ceiling, thinking about my dream. Actually..to be more precise...it was like a sweet and super realistic nightmare. I was standing on a bride looking over a beautiful lake and i was staring down at the deep blue water. 

Suddenly the bridge broke beneath my feet and i fell into the deep blue water. I was an expert swimmer but i couldn't get back to the surface and i kept sinking deeper and deeper like a rock. I felt my eyes close as i watched big bubbles of air leave my mouth and rise to where i could not go, the surface. 

Suddenly someone wrapped their arms around me and began pulling me towards the light. My eyes opened and i could breath again and i turned to the person who was saving me. It was Kaede Takumi, my worst enemy. He looked down at me and smiled and it was weird that i didn't reach up and slap him across the face and Ruffle his dark blue hair.

He carried me onto the surface and set me down on the grass, putting his jacket around me. "Who the hell are-" but before i could say anything, he leaned towards me, closer and closer and then-  Ring! my stupid ring tone woke me up! curse Owl city! 

"So anywayz, i called you this early because Zuri texted Mira texted Sakura texted Miku texted Hatana texted Yuki tex-" she rambled on and on until i said "GET TO THE OINT ALREADY!" I heard her laughing on the other side of the line. "okay okay, anywayz i was told that the cast list are up." What cast list?" i asked slowly sitting up in bed to look at the phone on the floor. "THE ROMEO AND JULIET CAST LIST YOU IDIOT!" she yelled through the phone. those were like music to my ears. 

"Why didn't you just say so?!" i yelled zipping out of bed and getting dressed. "Well i dunno...you just were too sleepy." she said laughing. I swear, in less than 10 minutes i was down stairs and ready. Breakfast eaten and freshened up. I took my phone and dialed Kazumi's number. "Hey Girlfriend, i'm coming! Meet me and Candy King's!"

On our way to school from Candy King's, we talked about what we might get in the cast of Romeo and Juliet whilst licking the icecream we got from CK's. Well Kazumi wanted to play Juliet's mother and she wanted me to be her daughter...which i really wanted to be. 

We were at school and as i was just finishing off my ice cream when I spotted Kaede out of the corner of my eye and i nearly choked. As i glanced at him. he glanced at me and i quickly turned away nervously. Great! this is the work of that nightmare! i cursed in my head. I carried on down the hall with Kazumi by my side, heading for the drama room notice board. 

I was deep in though about the creepy dream....usually these dreams meant something, but i wonder what this nightmare was about.... As i rounded the corner, my thought filling my head, i crashed into someone and fell backwards. A hand reached out and grabbed my wrist and i looked up. 

'K-Kaede!" i screamed. he seemed surprised that he even reached out to grab me. "Misaki!" he let go of my hand and i found my self sitting on the floor. I quickly got up. "What was that for?" i said looking him in the eye. "Well i thought i was just walking around the corner but then YOU bumped into me!" he said crossing his arms across his chest, "What's wrong? didn't get any sleep?! still not awake, hey sleepy head?" 

I raised my hand to slap him across his face but he blocked it just in time by grabbing my wrist. "Well sorry but i've got a lot of things on my mind!" I shouted at him. What about you? I wasn't the only clumsy one!" He glared at me. "well i had a bad dream and didn't sleep!" he shouted. "I hope that was me killing you!" i shouted shaking my hand. "Haha! Like that would be sooo fun!" he shouted back. 

"Well then what made you so BAAAAD dream that you go all clumsy like like a clown and blame it one me?!" i glared back. "well if you want to know so badly, i was dreaming about y-" he suddenly stopped midway in sentence and looked away. I felt blush reach my cheeks and i turned away, snatching my wrist back. 

Luckily no one was about beside Kazumi who was talking to Tanaka, Kaede's best friend. they always get so hooked up in there conversations. It's weird coz they seem to forget they're at school. 

"Did you have a dream too?" he asked quietly. I glared up at him. "No! I had a nightmare!" He seemed to under stand what i said. "So you had it t-" "Shut up!" i yelled! This can't be happening! He had it too?! He seemed to realize that this kinda nervous behaviour was gonna get noticed by our fans so he immediately snapped back to normal Kaede. "Okay, you know what? Lets just pretend we never had this conversation!" He said. "Agreed!" i said walking towards the drama notice board, Kaede keeping a good distance behind me. 

we reached the noticed board at the same time and i refused to looked at him. This was just too weird! It had to just be a coincidence.. No! who am i kidding? I'm not fooling anyone! this is not a coincidence! 

I scanned my eyes down the list of back stage crew and finally reached the actors list. 

Juliet's mother and father : Kazumi and Tanaka

wow, that was a stroke of good luck for Kazumi! 

I read past Romeo's parents and family and then i came Romeo and Juliet.

Romeo and Juliet: Kaede and Misaki.

I stared at the words for a long time. Kaede must have seen the names at the exact same time because we both screamed out in unison
