4:54 pm. April 21. Incheon International Airport.

The teardrops of the heavens have fallen against my head once again as I wait for an available taxi, outside of the airport. I sighed once more, thinking about the events of this very rough day; the plane ride to Korea had given me a headache due to the tons of turbulences; my dear, old brother wasn't replying to any of my text messages and I am getting more annoyed by the second; mother warned me about the weather but I didn't care less, because an umbrella does not match the outfit I am wearing right now, which, by the way, is ruined.

"Seriously," I whispered to myself as another drop fell on my head. My hair, which I spent hours straightening, was soaking wet and no taxi cabs are seen from my sight. I sighed again, looking down on my wet phone and checking the time for the 6th time, I assume. As soon as I lift my head up, I see the headlights of what seems like a taxi cab and it stops right before me. The taxi driver gets out with an umbrella in one hand, good for him, and yells, "Sorry for the wait!" through the rain and I just nod at him, handing him my baggage.

"So, where to, miss?" he asks as soon as he gets in the cab, closing the umbrella and wiggling it to rid of water.

"Bring me to Cofioca. Oh, and please hurry." I say, almost out of breath. He replies with a simple okay and runs the cab through the wet road. I sigh, but only out of relief, and look outside the window. The rain is really pouring down fast and hard, I hardly believe what my brother has been saying about Korea. "Korea is such a great place, sis! There's a lot of food here and oh, flowers too! I know you love those. Hurry out of college and come here as soon as you can and live with me. You'll love it here!" I vaguely remember the rest of that phone conversation, which was 7 months ago.

Yes, I have finally graduated from college and here I am, doing what he asked me to do; live here with him. Mother cried her heart out when she found out that I would be moving here as soon as I graduate, but I just laughed it off and told her that I would get back home as soon as I convince my brother to have a vacation, even if it's just a few months.

I glance down to my wet phone, seeing that it is 5:57 pm back home and that my phone's battery percentage is at 18%. Digging through my bag for my power bank, I hear the driver tell me that we're here. I looked outside the window and saw that we were literally in front of my destination and wow, the rain had stopped. I fished a 20 from my purse and gave it to him, telling him to keep the change and to pop the trunk open.

As I step outside, I see a young man leaning by a silver car, wearing a knit-blue sweater and twirling a loose thread around his fingers. He may be the one that my brother told me about; he said a not-so tall, pale white guy would pick me up from Cofioca and bring me to their dorm. When the young man looks up from his hands, he untwists the thread on his fingers and throws it away, as he had heard my footsteps that were walking towards the back of the car. He jogs over to me and lends out a hand towards my baggage, telling me, "Oh, let the gentleman carry your things, milady!" and I smile at his chosen words. This man is adorable.
