Zachary Anderson's POV
The morning sun greeted me as I stepped out of the bathroom. I changed into a pair of blue skinny jeans and a cotton pullover. I tugged on a pair of shoes and slid my arms through the straps of my black bag. I stood up and skipped through the hallway which was lined with family pictures, neatly framed up.
"Take care, Zach! See you soon!" My mother, Juliette, called out as she waved at me. I waved back. "Bye! I'll miss you!"
Hopping into my Audi, I slid a Taylor Swift 1989 Deluxe CD into the radio after throwing my bags full of my clothes in belongings into the back seat. I drove to Starbucks and had my usual to-go breakfast - a Ham and Cheese Danish, a Double Chocolate Fudge Bar and my favorite drink, a Chocolate Chip Cream Frappuccino, this time having it Venti.
I grabbed the iconic Starbucks bag, filled with my danish and brownie, and a to-go cup holder which carried my Frappucino. I unlocked the car and placed the drink into the car's cup holder and grabbed a bite off my danish before starting the car and driving to Eastview College, the most prestigious school in the state.
It made it to the Top Schools 2015 list and won an award for having the most successful graduates. Today was the first day of our senior year, and we expected more than fifty transferees.

Finally, I had arrived. A huge signboard nestled in front of the entrance read 'Eastview College', with 'Eastview' in italics and 'College' in bold. I parked my car before heading into the campus. Every year, before heading to the auditorium for a speech by our principal, we were to go to the school's Admin Office. A notice board would be stationed in front and our homerooms would be stated there.
This year though, since I was in senior year, we would be directed to our dorms. We were only allowed to leave during days without classes. The year before, we were distributed a booklet titled 'Senior Year 2016'. It said to proceed to the Dormitory Office to collect our keys and our homeroom information. Dragging my bags on the floor, I swiftly walked to the office.
A tall lady greeted me at the counter of the office. She wore a black and white top, accompanied with a silk blue dress. Her hair was neatly tied up into a bun, and she had a bracelet on her left arm. Engraved on it are the initials J and A. On the counter was a plaque which read 'Miss Jenkins.' "Name, please?" She had an accent. British, maybe? "Zachary Anderson, ma'am." I politely said, giving her a tight smile. She put on a pair of reading glasses and began typing on the keyboard, which was comfortably placed right in front of her. She glanced at the screen before heading into another room, which was slightly visible from where I stood.
When she came back, she handed me my keys and an envelope, with my name handwritten on it. I thanked her as I left the office. I opened the envelope.
