Upon reaching the market he found a whitejacket on the floor. Who could this belong to, he asked..Expecting some kind of response but to no avail. Well it may be a gift from the heavens he said. How lucky he was to have found this white jacket at a busy market. Bowed low to take the jacket when he heard a loud sound like a rocket. Could that be a dream, he sighed...Fear gripped him, frightened coz he never had such an experience in his life. Smart as he was known he wore the white jacket with an expectation of looking great and handsome in it. The exact opposite was the outcome. He looked horrific like a beast from the graveyard. What could have been in the white jacket he thought. Everything happens for a reason he concluded...Though he couldn't believe the experience, he asssumed he was the only one on earth with such nature and a whitejacket. There were many like himself in a strange land hunting for human lives and animals. Smart found himself as part of this group of blood thirsty creatures. He regretted ever wearing the jacket and going to the market on that day. As he continued to live in that state, little did he know that a saviour would come to his rescue. One faithful day as he journeyed through a forest in that strange land in search for animals as was the norm, he saw a crystal ball hunged on a tree. He approached the tree to have a better look the crystal ball. He gazed at the ball for quite some number of minutes and said "could this be another trap to increase my horrific nature?" Though Smart looked horrific just like the others, he still had his five senses at work. This made him superior amongst the other creatures. While he stood there gazing, an old man appeared and asked him"My Son what is troubling your mind? Do you want to be made whole?" The old man's appearance was so bright like a morning sun and his apparel so magnificent. Smart out of shock bowed to worship the old man; but the old man tapped his shoulder and restricted him. These were the sayings of the man "I'm sent to deliver those who are under captivity and to make them whole". Smart's dream became a reality, a saviour had come to his rescue. Out of curiousity, Smart asked how he could be delivered from that horrific nature of his. The old man without wasting much time took the crystal ball that hunged on the tree. What next? Smart asked. The old man placed the crystal ball around Smart's neck and said a prayer. In no time Smart's horrific nature changed, he had the exact appearance of the old man. He looked so graceful than before. Smart was so delighted to have met this old man who came to his rescue. The old man gave Smart some instructions that would keep him on track for the rest of his life. As they took a stroll in the forest the old man said these words to Smart. 1. Not everything that appears pleasant to the eyes are good for you.
2. Be grateful for those who come your way and be open to all.
3. Desire to save others even as I did for you.
Smart kept the words of the old man in his heart. They walked for sometime when Smart turned and to his surprise the old man was nowhere to be found. The old man had left Smart in the forest to save the others who were just like him some few hours ago. Smart was both sad and happy at the same time. The old man had left him all alone and the other reason being that he was healed from his horrific nature. A new beginning for Smart. He lived a wonderful life thereafter and became a glorious person at last. He became a saviour, following the instructions the old man gave him.
