Ten Days With My Shiki

Preface

Quick A/N: First off, I'd like to say thanks to those who are back. I really appreciate it. I want to start over. Make this enjoyable for you! I want to add more humor and emotion and understanding. This time I don't want to base it strictly off of the actual game, word for word. I want to add my own stuff in between. Bring in completely new scenes to develop the plot more. Add some pizzazz. New characters even. I feel as though this will be extremely enjoyable for you guys, and I can't wait to go on this new journey with you. Here is the opening of Ten Days With My Shiki. Enjoy!

P.S. This story is now in the form of a play script. It will not be exactly the way a play is written of course. I'll be writing it the way I want. Just letting you know!

Scene: In an almost empty, white room. In the middle of said room, there is one white bed. On top of said bed, lay two comfortable looking black pillows, and under said pillows, lay a white blanket. There is a person, happily snoozing on top of the pillows and blanket. It seems as though they were too lazy, or maybe just too tired to get under the blankets. This person, this male, with messy, black bedhead and beautiful violet colored eyes that lay hidden beneath his eyelids has been sleeping almost the whole day. It is no surprise, though. That's just how Shiki is. He's usually in his peaceful and quiet room, alone, and sleeping the day away. However, it isn't always that way.

Haruhito: (barging into the room; loud; overbearing)  "Shikiiiii!"

Shiki: (non-moving; still snoring; peacefully sleeping) "..."

Haruhito: (next to Shiki's bed; actually yelling this time)  "Shiki!"

Shiki: (doesn't even stir)  "..."

Meguru: (slowly making his way into the room;peeking over at the two)  "I heard all of the yelling from the kitchen. What's going on in here?"

Haruhito: "Oh, hey Meggy." (frowning)  "Sheeks won't wake up."

Satoru: (suddenly appears, leaning against the door frame)  "That's nothing new, though. It's almost impossible to wake that guy up."

Haruhito: "Keyword being 'almost'."

Meguru: (furrowing his eyebrows; confused, but interested) "Why do you even want him up? We never bother Shiki when he's sleeping. He's probably exhausted.

Haruhito: (rolling his eyes; looking at Satoru) "Can you believe this guy? Tell him why, Satoru.

Satoru: (puzzled expression on his face) "Ah, is today a special day?"

Kakeru: (stalking into the room) "Special day? What's that?"

Haruhito: (laughing; pretending to wipe away tears) "You guys are kidding, right?"

Satoru, Kakeru, Meguru: (staring at Haruhito with a blank expression) "No?"

Haruhito: (broken-hearted; whining; now wiping away real tears) "It's my birthday!"

Kakeru: (exiting) "That's it? Don't wake Shiki up for that."

Satoru: (tilting his head; following right behind Kakeru) "Didn't you just have a birthday? Oh wait, that was me.."

Meguru: (sympathetic and apologetic smile; walking over to pat his shoulder) "I'm sorry, Haru. We've all just been really busy this week, getting ready for the newest Toast. Remember?"

Haruhito: "That one chick? What was her name? Geilah?"

Meguru: "That's the one. How about I make you a cake, and we can celebrate later tonight? When Shiki might be awake. Sound good?"

Haruhito: (nodding; walking out after Meguru) "Sounds good."

Shiki: (snoring softly; never hearing a word or what was just said) "..."

Hey guys! Again.. Once more, I'd like to welcome you back! And say welcome to all of the new readers. Let me tell you what wanted me to make a new book, entirely.

The last one sucked.

I went through the chapters and it was a complete cringe-fest! Misspelled words, everywhere. I've turned into a grammar freak over the years after starting that book, and there was no grammar to be found! It makes me feel good to know that I've greatly involved though.. One of those "thank God that's over!" moments. So let me just say, Thank God that's over!

I'm new and improved, loves. Can't wait to actually finish the journey c;
