Chloe
"Shawn! I'm coming out!" I called out as I stepped out the change room at the mall wearing a short tight black dress. When I stepped out Shawn wasn't there, he was probably flirting with some fuckboy since he didn't know the difference between a fuckboy and a nice guy.
"Shawn!" I yelled this time.
Uugghh...I walked across the store to see him talking to a guy that seemed nice but I had to interrupt him...sorry bud but you came here with ME. People were now staring at me, I walked by a group of guys (about 5 guys) that seemed like they were in there 20's, a couple years older than me.
One of them whistled "woah sweetheart! What are you doing here all alone in this store with that dress on?" Umm I'm shopping.
I just ignored them and kept walking, once I got to Shawn...
"Hello there!" I said In a cheery voice, "I'm sorry to interrupt but my friend here needs to come with me." I looked over at Shawn with an innocent smile.
Jason^^^
"Oh, yeah, my names Jason by the way." The boy he was talking to held his hand out for me to shake, as I went to shake it he brought it to his lips and kissed it.
"You're really beautiful." Jason said I felt a little blush creep on to my cheeks.
"Oh, thank you, you're not to bad your self." I can't lie he was pretty attractive.
"Here," he hands me a piece of folded paper "call me soon." Then he walked away. I could see the hurt expression on Shawn's face when Jason gave me his number.
"Shawn...I'm sorry, but I was looking for you. You told me you were going to wait there on the couch..."
"Right."
We started walking back to the change rooms and the 5 guys I saw before that commented on what I was wearing walked towards us.
"Oh! Boys! It's Princess again! What a coincidence to see you again." The man that whistled at me said. "Does she have a boyfriend? Is this your boyfriend Princess?"
"Yes, it is." I said looking over at Shawn even though I knew he would never date me since he was gay. He was also my best friend, he has always been there for me since grade 8. I never had many friends but Shawn was all I needed.
"Oh really?"
"Yes, you got a problem?" Shawn said, wow didn't expect that from him.
"Oh, okay...well, have a good day I guess." He said and walked away with his group.
"Thanks Shawn." I said looking down at my hands.
"Anything for my best friend! You know?" He chuckled.
"Yeah." I joined in. "So how does this dress look on me?" I finally asked.
"Looks sexy." He said in a raspy voice that made me giggle. "Seriously, you look great, the guys will be all over you." He confirmed.
"Thanks Shawn, I know I look sexy no need to tell me twice." I said, I have never been the one to accept compliments because I always feel like people are lying just to make you feel better, but if I asked Shawn something I knew he would tell the truth. So I guess I believed him.
"OH! Chloe! I found a perfect pair of heels for that dress right across the store! I'll go get them."
~•~
"Here try these on" he handed me a pair of red stilettos. I put them on "Holy Avocado! You look even more sexy!" He squealed."Why do you always make that voice when you say 'sexy'?" I chuckled.
"Because it's sexy." He said in an even more huskies voice.
We both burst out in laughter.
