My Not So Gay Best Friend

Chapter 4

Chloe

The week passed and Saturday came around. I remembered that Jason gave me his number at the mall and decided to text him.

Chloe
Hey, it's the girl u met at the mall. My names Chloe :)

Jason
Hey, didn't think u were actually gonna text me haha

Chloe
Oh. Was I not supposed to? :(

Jason
No! I'm glad!

Chloe
Okay, good lol. I was thinking we could hangout or something. Maybe go to the park or something?

Jason
Okay when u wanna meet? How about  6

Chloe
Great! See u there :)

Well that was easier than I thought. But now I have to get dressed and get ready, it's already 3 and it takes a while. I wonder how Shawn is gonna react to me hanging out with Jason. I'll make it work though! If he's mad we will figure it out. He's my best/only friend. He'll understand.

Actually I'm gonna text him right now. He deserves to know. And if he disapproves, I won't talk to Jason. Shawn means a lot to me.

Well...it's about a boy...

Shawn😜

Chloe
Remember Jason? Well...I'm gonna go hangout with him today. Is that ok?

Shawn😜
Yea. Fine.

Chloe
Are u sure? I don't wanna hurt u :(

20 min later...

Chloe
Shawn?

Six o'clock came around pretty fast. Still kinda worried about Shawn but I have to get my mind of him tonight.

It was still pretty light outside since it was near the end of the year.
YAS SUMMER!!!

As I walk down my stairs I hear a knock and my heart suddenly skips a beat.
"Oh my god, oh my god, it's him" I say quietly to myself. He wasn't supposed to be here! We were supposed to meet at the park though.
How did he find out where I live?

I walk slowly to the door and open it and Jason is standing there.

"What are you doing here?" I ask

"Just felt like picking you up, is that okay?"

"Yea, yea, it's fine one second" I close the door in front of his face.
Now that I think about it I felt like that was kinda rude.

Oops.

I get my shoes on, say bye to my mom and leave the house. As we walk to Jason's car he says "you look great by the way." Oh. Flirting are we?

"You don't look to bad yourself" I giggle.

"Thanks!" He laughs. When we get to his car he runs in front of me and opens the door for means when I get in he closes it. What a gentleman.

At the park we walk over to the swings.
As I sit down Jason sitting on the swing says "give me your hand" I give him my hand.

As I took his hand I realized how soft his hands were and how big they were compared to mine, his hand was fully wrapped around mine I couldn't help but blush, I then realized I was starring at our hands, I looked up quickly "Okay, what now?"

"Now we try to swing." He was being serious. What are we? Five? I give him the are-you-serious look he just pouts and says "I'm trying to be cute and romantic! Can you just go along with it?"

"Awe, I'm sorry!" I laugh. We tried to swing and to my surprise it was actually working. After a while we got off the swings and walked around for a bit hand in hand.

Jason was tall that he towered over
me. I was short for a 17 year old, I was
five-three. It's not my fault though
my moms only five-four and my dad
is five-seven.

Jason was six foot tall, very bulky too, you could tell he works out a lot, he has very wide shoulders and small torso, you could see his abs through his white shirt he was wearing.

I looked up at him admiring his sharp features of his face, after a while he realized I was looking at him and looked down at me, I blushed, and looked down, he stopped walking pulling me back to stop with him. Oh no. If he was about to kiss me I wasn't about that life. I'm not the type to kiss on a first date. And I wasn't really good with these type of romantic things. Anytime something like this would happen to me I would ruin it by either pushing the guy away from me literally, I mean I physically pushed him away, for him not to kiss me. Or I would just avoid the situation and start walking away like nothing happened.
