The wind wiped my hair back as i ran, it was so easy. my chest heaving i stopped and rested against a tree. Fang and Light caught up to me within three minutes.
"holly crap Pandora! how do you run that fast!" Fang questioned flopping to the ground next to Light.
"haha its easy..." i took a deep calming breath.
"why do i run with you..?" Light sighed. i smiled and laughed. then the alpha howel sent us sprinting back.
by the time we entered the cave i was caked is sweat and my chest was heaving but that call from the alpha was one not to ignore.
"PANDORA!" the alpha yelled right as i entered. he then stormed up to me his hair was standing on end, like a cat,
"yes alpha?" i replied panting,
"were were you! we have a sick patient! i told you this morning to report to me and i will take you to the patient!" he roared
"i-i went out for a run... im sorry..." i stuttered
"that is not excuse! come and take care of her before her condition worsens!" he again roared, i bowed my head and stared to walk towards the sick spot when the alpha sliced his claws down my back, i whimpered but keep moving. i heard Fang and Light snarl and i smiled, they were like the family i never had.
it was a short walk to sick corner and i found only one. i sat down next to her and found she was like Light, that time were we were attacked by that starving wolf. i reached into my pouch, made from leafs and twigs, and pulled out the nessesary ingrediance. i reached for my bole and crshed them up.
i then whispered an apology to the wolf for the pain and smeared it on all of her wounds she was so weak she didnt even flinch i then got up and made an elixir to bring her strength back. then opened her chops and pored it in. within seconds her strength was back.
"sh sh sh... you need to rest... let the past heal." i smoothed my hand over her golden hair,
"Pandora... how long must i rest..?" she lifed her head and i pused it back down,
"around a day... stay here and rest until i come and wash you off." i smiled she nodded her head and closed her eyes. after i was sure sh e was asleep i then got up and found the alpha standing behind me. i didnt bother to bow.
"yes sir?" i questioned licking my hands clean, like a wolf.
"sorry about your back... but you need to learn Pandora." i turned and met his cold gaze. and thats when i snapped.
"your not my father!!" my back burned and i again sprinted out of the cave
when i stopped i looked at my back in the reflection of a lake, it was ripped up and still bleeding.
'is this gonna be how i live my life?' i thought to myself then walked back to the cave.
