Skylar's POV
I groaned slamming my hand on the 'snooze' button. Getting up and stumbling a bit I picked out my outfit. I walked to the bathroom and turned on the hot water getting in. While I was in the shower I thought about what happened over the weekend. Niall came over and met my parents. They didn't think he looked like my type but Niall was a real gentleman. My parents over looked his clothes and liked Niall.
I used my watermelon shampoo and conditioner.
But something else happened the night after that. Niall came over again when my parents weren't here and it was just me. He said that I had a special blood type and that other vampires were after me. Niall also said that only two people in the intire world are vampire hunters and are special blood types.
How come all life's desicions are in the bathroom? Oh well. I pick ed out a floral dress and some pink wedges with some accsessories. I got my keys and left the house in my pink beetle. I stopped by Starbucks going into the drive-through. "The usual, Hannah" I said. Hannah is the sweetest person you will ever meet. She's one of my closest friends and she always spends the night.
Hannah smiled and handed me the Cotton Candy Fappe. "That will be 5.00 my lady" Hannah said in a posh accent. I giggled handing her the money and driving to school. As I was turning on the radio my favorite song came on 'Just a Dream' by Nelly. My windows were down and I was singing a little to loud.
When the red stoplight came on I got out my phone and texted Hannah.
'Hey we still on for tonight? ;)'
'Might have to bring my little sister with me'
'Okay bring the regular stuff we need'
'Bai'
'Baui, Hahahaha'
I turned my phone off and focused on the drive to school. Pulling up and getting out of my car something didn't feel right. I pushed the feeling away and walked into the school. Crowds of students were in the hallway chanting 'Fight, Fight!!' I tried to get a good look at who it was.
A hand slapped my butt hard. "Ahhh!!!'' I screamed in pain. A hand dragged me by my wrist into a deserted hallway. Gavin my ex-boyfriend was pushing me against the lockers with force. ''Baby, I've missed you come back" Gavin said.
I squirmed in his grip. I spit in his face. "Bethe la chingatha" I said. That's spanish for 'Go fuck yourself'. Gavin let go wiping the spit our if his face.
"Your going to pay for that'' He said. Gavin raised his fist to punch me. A face colided with his fist but not mine. But Austin's. Her face was bruised and bloody. I knelt down and helped Austin up to the nurse.
When Austin was well enough to stand I let her. A group of girls came over to us and started kicking Austin with HEELS. Afterwards, she was shaking really badly. I picked her up and ran out of school not bothering to look back.
Austin looked like she was about to fall asleep while her nose bled. So i put a wad of tisse in her nose and a blanket around her if she got cold.
*30 mins later*
Nova's POV
My parents literally dragged me here to their work. They was me to continue the family tradition of being doctors. Sure they're vampires too but they can control it around humans. We all can and by we I mean Harry, Liam, Zayn, Niall, Louis, Leah, Cambree and I. Maybe Sofia and Jessica can't control it that well yet.
A girl came running in carrying another girl.
"Help someone please help my friend is losing blood fast and is unconscious" She said. It was Friday. We close early but the girl's urgency in her voice was panicing. My mom and dad took the unconscious girl away and left me there with the other girl.
"I'm Nova" I said. I am a vampire but we need friendds too. Some of us aren't all mean an cruel. Yes we actually breathe and sparkling in the sun if just a fake.
"Skylar Williams" The girl said. Skylar had brown hair half way down her back. She had blue eyes the colors of the ocean. Wait.... did she say her last name was Williams? I swear I think I heard that name before.
"What's your friends name the one you brought in?" I asked getting a sheet of paper down. "Austin Parker" That's when my parents called Skylar over there to see Austin
