Lately, Seto Sorcerer of The Sky Army has been acting strange. It's noticeable for everyone, his hair is a more greyish brown then his normal chocolate brown hair. His eyes no longer have the spark it used to have, and the bags under his eyes were apparent. His skin is noticeably paler, like the life is slowly being sucked out of him. He also haven't left his room except for mandatory meetings and occasional meals. He's become distant from everyone, even his best friends, Ty and Brice. Was he sick? No, this is much more serious. But will Sky stop it? Let's hope so.
Jason was heading to Seto's room to ask him to help him fix his space suit. He kinda knew how to do it, but a problem came up. He knocked on his door, he didn't respond, but he went in anyway. His room was a mess, paper with weird writing Jason couldn't understand was scattered. A purple smoke was drifting around the room, which was coming from a eye of ender staff. But most strange was that Seto was gone. "What the heck?" Jason whispered to himself. He looked to Seto's bed and saw what looked like a note. He read it.
Seto, I'm not going to hurt them, you are.
Jason's eyes widened, Who the heck is this from? He decided he would need help to find out what was wrong with Seto. He exited the room quietly, his heart pounding out of his chest. Fear rushing through his vains. He was terrified of the thought of having to go against Seto, he's extremely powerful. What if he's betraying us? The idea it's self scared him. He came to a stop in front of the door to his room and shook his head, clearing it. He dropped his broken suit on the ground and fell on his bed, instantly falling into a dreamless sleep. In the morning, Seto showed up, tired from the work he did the night before. He looked up to the noise of the eating hall, he silently apologized to all of them and took his food.
Jason sat next to Sky, Ty, and Brice. "Guys, somethings wrong with Seto." Jason says trying not to act frantic. Sky looked at him. "Is this the first time you've noticed?" Sky asks. Jason shakes his head. "No, I-" He glances over to the table next to their's, and see's Seto sit down. "Come with me." He whispers harshly. They follow him out of the room away from Seto. "What is it?" Ty asks. Jason takes a deep breath. "I believe Seto is betraying us." He says. Brice reacts almost immediately, he lunges at Jason but Ty gets ahold of him. "He would never do that!" Brice yells, attracting almost everyone's attention. "Shh, it's just my theory." Jason hushes. "This is serious business. We should discuss this privately." Sky says. They pull Quintin, Ian, Mitch, and Jerome to the meeting hall. They all sit down, and Jason begins. "I believe Seto is betraying us." He suggests again. "Because he snuck out last night." Everyone's eyes widen. "How would you know?" Mitch asks. "I went to talk to him last night and he was gone." Jason answered. "How did you know he wasn't just using the bathroom?" Jerome asks. "I just know." Jason says feeling the feeling from last night return to him. "But, I think he's being forced into it. I found a note in his room that said 'I'm not going to hurt them, you are'." He says. "Woah, woah, now this interesting, he is one of my best men, he knows everything." Sky says. "Why don't we follow him tonight, to see where he's going?" Brice suggests. Most of Team Crafted forgot he was even there. "Good idea, but we can't all go." Sky observes. "Yeah, that's why I volunteer to go." Brice says. "Yeah, me too." Ty says. "I'll go as well." Jason says. "Okay, looks like it's you three and me." Sky says. "Quintin, when we leave, your in charge." Sky says. "Why?! Why can't Ian do it?!" Quintin asks. "Because he's the Captain of the army." Sky says. Ian smirks at Quintin. No one likes to be in charge around here, there's always something happening, like people making mistakes while they have TNT. Also, almost all of the Sky Army act like immature middle school boys. "Your in charge, but, Mitch, you help him." Sky says, smirking. "Why me?" He groans. Everyone starts laughing. "Okay, lets go finish eating." Sky says. Everyone nods. "Finally, I want to get more bacon before they run out." Jerome says, making a few people laugh.
The entire day Brice was lost in his thoughts, the question kept running through his head, Is Seto betraying us? He thought it was crazy at first, but it would make sense. But he still had faith in his best friend and love interest. He was thinking about Seto the whole day, the old times. Like when Seto first joined the army, he was so lost, but Brice had helped him through the first couple weeks. Shortly after, they became the best of friends, then a few months later, Brice started loving him. Another memory came to his mind, when Seto almost died protecting him. That fight was a bloody one. He was torn from his trance when Sky approached him. "Works done for the day, after dinner, meet outside the front door." He whispers harshly. Brice nods.
The four that are going to follow Seto meet outside the front gate after dinner. "Wait, what if he teleports?" Jason asks. None of them thought of this. "Let's just hope he doesn't." Sky says. "How long untill everyone should be in bed?" Ty asks. Brice checks his butter watch. "About fifteen minutes." Brice responds. All of them hide in the bushes around the base entrance and wait for Seto. About half an hour later a cloked Seto sneaks out of the door. Brice notices Seto carrying a book, brown with purple trims and an eye of ender on the front. When he entered the woods the four of them follow the sorcerer into it. Little did they know, this night would be filled with tears.
