I loved her to first time I saw her. It sounds sappy, but it isn't.

I closed my locker, only to see a beautiful girl with brown ombre hair. Not the type people dye to look cute and tumblr-y, but natural. People ask her how she makes it look so good, only to get a reply of, "It's natural.", and a smile. She has white teeth too. Not pure white, but white enough to look pretty. Her brown eyes only sparkled when she was passionate about something, something that moved her, and something she wanted to know more about. She slammed her locker shut, startling me and made me loose track of what I was thinking. "Hi Daren." She said as she walked past me, smelling slightly like Endless Weekend, her favourite fragrance from Bath & Body Works. If only I had her, the world would seem like an endless weekend. Boys stared at her from the hallway, wanting her almost as much as I wanted her. She just smiled and walked past. I just wanted to run up to her and pick her up, and take her far away. Have her all to myself. I opened my locker again and grabbed my books and headed to class.

I walked to lunch as the same as everyday. I got a hamburger and some fries from the cafeteria and sat down a few tables away from her. She sat with her friends as she did everyday. She was popular, mostly because of her looks, like most schools are like. But, another part of it was herself. Her way towards her community and her personality. She was wearing an outfit from Tillys, her favourite shop. She laughed at a joke one of her friends told her. She wasn't the best at jokes, and that was ok. No one is perfect. She left with her friends, leaving me to eat my burger, alone.

At the end of the day, I put the first love note in her locker. I crossed my fingers and left school.
