"Hey kitten" Ethan's husky voice tickled your ears, and he buried his face into your neck as his arms wrapped around your waist.
"You ready?"
You turn to give Ethan a quick peck on the lips before picking up your keys.
"Yes Ethie"
Both of you walked out and and got onto your mini bikes, ready for your picnic which you had been planning for days.
After a short ride you reached a hilly garden, overlooking the entire city, it was absolutely breathtaking.
Ethan suddenly turned around and pulled out your favourite flowers from a bag; tulips, bright orange and radiant.
You smiled as he handed them to you, warmth spreading in your heart, making you melt. You jumped and hugged him, planting small kisses all over his face and he just smiled in content, his cheeks tinged slightly red.
You both stood there for a while, in each other's embrace, mesmerised by the view of the city, when your stomach let out a growl.
"Somebody's hungry" Ethan chuckled. "Let's have lunch."
You walked towards the picnic basket, your fingertips slightly brushing against each other's hand.
"What's there to eat?"
"Your favourite; homemade pizza, ice tea and some cupcakes and chocolate too."
You grinned, eager for the mouthwatering food, but as you came upon the basket you shrieked. "Aaaaah"
Ethan ran to the basket, ready to chase away whatever or whoever was scaring you, and you let out a sigh of relief. However the sense of security lasted only for a few seconds because just as Ethan reached, he turned around and ran screaming just as loudly, if not louder, than you.
"EEEEEK"
"What will we do Ethie?!!"
"Don't worry y/n!! We'll figure it out!!"
Both of you, looked at each other, communicating with your eyes before picking up the biggest stick you could find.
Ethan raised his fingers to count.
1...2...3...GO!!
You both ran and waved the sticks about only to find, that the monstrosity had vanished. Instinctively you both went for a high five, and your heart regained it's normal pace.
"Phew! You should have seen your face kitten! You looked so terrified!! It was just a lizard!" Ethan laughed, trying to brush off the fact that he had been just as scared as you.
"Oh please, did you hear yourself scream? I'm pretty sure that even the monitor lizard, ran away because of that." You retorted.
Ethan just stared at you, and then all of a sudden he was smiling, with a glint in his eye. Both of you just looked at each other and started giggling uncontrollably.
Once the fit of laughter was over, you pounced on the food, gobbling it up like there was no tomorrow.
Once you were done you both lay down on the grass,cuddling each other and looking up at the sky, satisfied.
This one was....whatever. Idk
