"Oh my god, is she really wearing that?"
What my shirt?
"Gives me reason not to like that group."
Definitely about my shirt. What did they have against concert shirts?
"Ella thinks she's so cool for liking hot foreigners but really it's just sad."
That's what I heard everyday walking down the halls of my school. It's public school, not the fancy private schools these kids wish to go to.
Anyway.
My name is Ella. Most people call me a.. Well, let's just say they call me many things. I'm the social outcast here. Unless someone wants information on books, bands, or movies, I'm nobody.
The two girls pushed past me making me drop my books. Sometimes I wished I was pretty. My hair is a long mousey brown, most of the time I have it up so no one can see its full length. I don't need more ridicule for never having my hair cut. I run a blog, I'm always on it. My followers are my only friends, they actually understand what I'm going through. Only some know, actually.
Anyway, back to my school day. Classes don't really matter so long as we're doing something. My first stop was the computer, off to tumblr to update my followers on the horrible life of Ella Seward.
My update read,
"You know those days when you just want to scream and make people notice you? It's one of those days.."
I took a pouty face picture and posted it. A few minutes later it had a reblog with a reply from my Skype buddy, username cassideestoyles.
"Cheer up doll! I'm sure things will get better!!:DDD"
I chuckled, "Oh Stoyles..."
She and I had called each other by our usernames because it was easier. I was Tommo. We were both fangirls, we fangirled about music, bands, shows, guys, didn't matter. So long as we talked, we had so much to discuss. Where's she live? Oh right, forgot, she lives a few miles away in the next town over.
I responded,
"Stoyles... Let's not discuss my school life."
I logged off. It was time to do some actual work.

So I got home.
"Hey mom, sorry I'm late. I got caught up at school."
"It's alright dear, come get some food." My mom had no idea the ridicule I was getting. It would break her heart to hear it.
"You don't mind if I go to town tomorrow right? I mean, it's no trouble? I just want some new music, movies and books." I walked into the kitchen with my hair out of its pony tail.
"Do you need me to drive you? Or will you catch the bus?"
"I'll take the bus. I know you have work."
"Thanks sweet heart, I promise one of these days I'll take you out to dinner." She kissed my forehead. We hadn't been out to dinner since I was fourteen, I'm sixteen now. Pretty sure dinner wasn't going to happen anytime soon. My mom was always busy but we did have a lot of time together when she had all kinds of stuff to do.
