(y/n) pov

I arrived home and took out the spare house key my mom gave me then unlocked the door.I stepped into the house and took off my shoes then made sure to lock the door because I've read enough fanfiction and watched enough movies to know that nothing good happens to the person that forgets to lock the door.i walked passed the living room then into the kitchen and saw that my mother had already prepared dinner and was now washing her hands."why are you late young lady?"my mom said to me in a teasing voice "I'm not late mom,you just prepared dinner early" I replied with an unamused face.she chuckled then told me to set the table which I did then I washed my hands and sat at the table waiting for my mom.

We started eating after she arrived and sat down then we began a small conversation about our day "so,where did you go  out today sweetie?"she asked curiously "erm..I went to a diner,which was quite nice,then I went to the park and made two friends "I replied grinning."hm really?how old are they?are they girls?or boys?!"she began to sound like a detective who was talking to a criminal "calm down geez...to answer your first question,their both 14...and to answer your second question...their both guys"I said the last part quieter."what?!"she shouted and almost choked on her food "you hanged out with guys?!what if something bad happened?!what if they did something to you while no one was there at the park huh?!what if they became friends with you only to one day ask to 'hang out' again and take you away from me and I never see you again?!"she lectured on and on like the overprotective mother she is.((does anyone else have a really overprotective mother or is it just me?like if I asked her if I could hang out with my old school friends from an all girls school at the mall she would begin to rant on and on about all the dangerous stuff that I've heard from her over a thousand time already and in the end I don't get to go out...but I guess she only says stuff like that because she loves me))

"*sigh*please calm down,they didn't do anything to me plus their really nice people"I left out the part that we were alone in the park and no one was around because I didn't want to stress her out even more and I didn't want her to lecture me even more."that's what they want you to think,maybe their only acting nice to gain your trust then one day ask you to 'hang out' again and--" I cut her off knowing that if I don't I won't hear the end of all this"hushhhh...first of all,they ARE nice people..second of all,one of them is really short,cute and chibi!do you really think he can do anything to me?I'm a black belt in karate HIYAA"I say then do a karate pose earning and chuckle from my mom"I guess not but since when did you ever learn karate?i don't remember you taking any lessons"she said with a smirk knowing that I lied."errr...dinnerwasgreatmomthanksImfullnowbyeillbeinmyroom"I say really fast knowing she barely caught anything I said then I quickly cleaned my plate and rushed to my room.

After I prepared my school bag,hanged my new uniform on the wardrobe door,took a shower and brushed my teeth,I laid on my bed for a while staring at the ceiling and calmed myself from the excitement of going to a elite Japanese school.I checked the time on my phone again for like the forth time today and it read 7:30 then I decided to read some fanfics and browse through my social medias before going to bed since it was a bit too early to sleep.after 3-4 hours,I fell asleep and my mind wondered off to dreamland.

(Y/n)'s mom pov

I sighed as I watched my daughter ran up the stairs to her room 'my little baby has grown up so fast'i thought then weakly smiling to myself.after I put the leftovers in the fridge and washed all the pans and plates,I walked upstairs and took a nice relaxing bath.I came out the bathroom really refreshed then saw that the time was 11pm so I made my way to (y/n)'s room.i quietly opened the door and saw that (y/n) was already fast asleep on her bed then after I pulled the covers over her so that she won't catch a cold,I kissed her forehead and whispered "goodnight sweetie you have a big day tomorrow" then walked out the room closing the door as I exited.as I walked to my room I started thinking about our past 'even though it's been a tough life with all the yelling and arguing between Jonathan and I ((just a random name for reader-chan's dad,you can change it if you want to))...(y/n) still stayed strong throughout all those events and was still able to smile everyday...*sigh* if only she could have grown up with a normal childhood with both her parents but don't worry my baby...we can live a normal and happy life together starting from today on....I promise"

-time skip to the next day (Monday)-(y/n) pov

"BEEP BEEP BEEP" my alarm rang waking me up from my slumber "ughhh" I groaned not wanting to get out of my bed."(y/n) wake up,you don't won't to be late on your first day of school do you?!"my mom shouted from downstairs then it finally hit me 'it's the big day!!' I mentally shouted to myself and jumped out of my bed,almost tripping because the covers were tangled with my legs,then ran to the bathroom to get ready.

After taking about 30 minutes getting ready,because I don't spend hours unlike some girls,I changed into my uniform then double checked myself in the mirror and adjusted the collar of the uniform.once I was happy with how I looked,I ran out my bedroom door after taking my school bag.i met my mother down stairs,who was pouring milk into a bowl of cereal,then when she noticed my presence she turned around to look at me and a huge grin spread around her face from ear to ear...like in animes."oh my gosh!you look so beautiful sweetie!my baby is so grown up"she said with tears of happiness hanging from the corners of her eyes "oh I just know you're going to have all the boys at school go head over heals for you"she continued making me blush then said shyly "m-mom!you're embarrassing me..."."I'm sorry sweetie,I just can't help it!you're too cute!anyway,hurry up and eat your breakfast I'm going to drive you to school....I also prepared you lunch,it's on the kitchen counter...." she said then went up to her room to get changed.

-time skip-

I sat in the passenger seat in my moms car rocking back and forth impatiently "are we there yet?"I asked like any kid would even though I'm 14."*sigh*we'll be there in 2 minutes"she replied obviously irritated "Mom!mom!I can see the school from here,hurry up!"I exclaimed jumping up and down in excitement....ok a lot of excitement."if I go any faster we will crash!do you want us to crash?!no?then sit back down!"she shouted making me shut right up..why,you ask?Oh I don't know maybe because I ain't one to disobey the woman and you shouldn't be one either.

Once she parked the car,I ran out before she could even open her own door."do you want me to come with you sweetie?!" She shouted while standing by her car "no mom!I'll be fine!bye love ya!" I shouted back then faced forward and continued running to the school gates.when I was near the gate I stopped running and started walking while trying to catch my breath.'oh my glob!i can't believe it!my first day at my new school!I'm so stooped!' I thought as I walked passed the gates.
