One day Vinyl was walking down the road to Pony Ville with her head phones on and listening to music. She passed rainbow dash and applejack on the way to her home. "Howdy" said Applejack, rainbow dash waved and continued talking to applejack. As Vinyl was walking she saw someone telling her to come over, she tilted her head and pointed at herself and the pony nodded. She walked over taking her headphones off and looked at the pony "yo! What's up?" Said Vinyl. "I need you to help me ..." Said the pony. "Me? Why?" Asked Vinyl in a confused voice. "You'll find out when I tell you the story on our way to the place" responded the pony. "Er ... Ok I guess" she said and walked off with the pony. "My name is Neon Lights .. I'm here to ask you if you would like to help me DJ for the next gala" neon said. "Me?! Well of course I would ... But .. I don't know how really." Said Vinyl sadly. "It doesn't matter, I'll help you. But my question is what's your name?" He asked. "My name is Vinyl .. Vinyl Scratch." Said Vinyl. Neon nodded and continued walking until the went inside a studio room. "Well Vinyl do you want to help me with all the music we have to make?" Asked neon. Vinyl nodded and said "I will help you but at one cost .... You buy me lunch because I left my bits at home and Octavia needs them" she said. Neon chuckled and said. "That sounds fair to me!" He said shaking Vinyl's hoof in agreement.
