One Direction Reunited (ONE SHOT)

July 23, 2023, 7:45 in the morning, while I was having tea and checking my schedule for the day, I received a phone call from a new client. His voice reminded me of someone, whose name I can't recall at the moment. I immediately discarded the thought and focused on what he is saying. After that phone call, I knew the rest of the month and my life from there on wouldn't be as striking as before.

Way back in 2010 after I joined X-Factor, I met five ordinary boys. Five boys with the same dream as mine and whom I never thought can possibly change a part of my life.

As time passed by, suggested by the judges, we all ended up as a British-Irish boy band named One Direction. And in that exact moment, we never thought we would become famous for five amazing years; it's all thanks to our unbelievable and dedicated fans.

We had so many memories together with them, so many adventures, rumors, hates, success, achievements, experiences; it was all something we will never forget with all the directioners worldwide. 

In 2015, we resigned sadly due to the 5-year contract and we all decided that we should now go back to our families, and start living our old, former lives of being five normal lads.

I came back to Doncaster, worked for a year with my wife, Eleanor. With the referral of a friend, I am now working as a creative designs and costumes director in a well-known theater, a position I held for eight years now.

Now going back to the caller, he seemed so sure of hiring me. I've organized and planned weddings, banquets, and parties, but no, never something like a concert! Well, this is definitely something exciting. I never been to a concert or even performed to one for ages! So what I did first was search the internet for information about this client.

And reading... I hardly could believe it. The person whom I would be working for, this Vocalist Zen that I talked to a while ago with the familiar voice, was no other then my dearest band mate, Zayn Jawaad Malik...

After he went back to Bradford, he got married to the amazing Little Mix singer, Perrie Edwards. He worked patiently as a vocalist and now has 200 songs to his name. He also teaches many great singers earning his title Vocalist Zen. He is to have his major concert soon themed, Reunited featuring his best singles and to be highlighted by his fellows whom he will soon be revealed. I made tears form down in my deep hazel eyes... Because I now know why he chose me for this concert.

Not wasting time, I began to list down the people we both know way back 2010 at London that can sing and play some of his pieces. I searched for their addresses and sent them the requests and invitations. Thanks to this day's latest invention, the SCP call me phone model #76910 where you don't have to look at the internet if you want to know something. It is a mobile gadget that has the capacity of informing you of things or something that happened just 5 minutes ago. All you have to do is call and ask your own phone. The new SCP corporations that Simon eventually owns after resigning as a judge, together with his assistant Paul Higgins, is known worldwide for its quality products and is now the leading technological product brand.

My next step was to look for a venue. I searched, scrolled up and down the websites, until finally I found the most perfect place yet. It was the most expensive Arena I remembered where the lads and I had sold in just hardly any minutes; the Croke Park.
