"Thanks for whatching, stayed tuned for next weeks uploads love you! Mwah!" I concluded the video. I turned off the camera and sighed. I opened the camera and pulled out the SD card then inserted it into a little slot on the left side of my laptop. I spent an hour editing before I decided I could upload my video to YouTube. As soon as the video was posted I shut my laptop then picked up my phone to post on all my social medias that my video was up.
I set my phone down on the ground next to my mattress. I took a quick shower then spent a couple minutes French braiding my long chestnut brown hair. I layed down and fell asleep quickly.
The next morning I got up to check the mail. There was a letter for me. I pulled it out of the small stack and started the coffee pot. The strong aroma of coffee beans flooded my nose as I stared out the window watching the cars drive past my little beaten brick house. An alarm went off signaling the coffee was ready. I bent down and opened a tall black cabinet door and pulled out a plain white coffee cup. I set the cup on the counter so that I could grab my half and half out of the small retro black fridge. I poured the black liquid in the cup and set the coffee pot back in its spot. I opened a white pot and took a small spoonful of sugar from it. I dumped the sugar in my cup and left the spoon in, I poured some half and half and then stirred my coffee causing the dark color to turn to a light cacky brown color.
I sat in the window and opened the letter addressed to me.

I stared at the paper in awe. Of course! Of course I would go, who wouldn't? I ran over to my moms bedroom and knocked carefully on the light green door. I told her about the letter and handed her my coffee. She took the coffee hastily and drank it down. "You better start packing." She said with a rough voice. I nodded and smiled.
I walked over to my room and pulled out a dusty beaten duffle bag from the top shelf of my closet. I had to stand on a chair just to reach it. I guess it doesn't help that I'm only 5'2. I shook out the bag and set it next to my dresser. I dug through the drawers and tried to find the most summer-y outfits. I also tried to pick the nicest looking items. My family consists of just my mom and I. My mom works two jobs and I work at Starbucks to help out, ever since my dad left my mom has been struggling to get back on her feet.
I zipped up my bag then checked my email for the tickets they were supposed to send. Turns out I was leaving tommorow. I walked to the bathroom and took a shower. Then I went to the living room in a towel holding my small bag of makeup. I turned on the news as I did my makeup. I did my usual classic winged eyeliner with mascara and lipstick. Today I wore a nude pink matte lipstick. I unraveled the gray towel off my head slowly relvealing my long brown hair. I ran a brush through the curly disaster of hair on my head. I stared at the hair that layed on my lap and thought, it would be nice to die my hair for a change.
I sighed and dried my hair. I put on my work uniform and then turned off the TV. I went to my room and put my makeup away then grabbed my phone. I sat on the edge of my bed and put on my white vans. I slid off my bed and walked to the door. Right before I left I grabbed my car keys and left.
I pulled into the back parking lot of Starbucks. I walked in and set all my stuff in my cubby and pulled my apron over my head. I put on my head price and stood at the drive through window.
I worked for five hours and as soon as my shift was up I went to the bathroom and changed my shirt. I brushed out my hair and let the curl be free-half free- I pulled half of my hair up into a bun. I walked out and hopped into my car. I drove to the mall and began my adventure. I searched each store in the mall for little items I could bring with me. I picked one complete outfit for a formal. It cost eighty dollars so I decided to stop and go to target for hair dye.
I wondered aimlessly through the never ending isles of target until eventually I found the dye section. I picked up some bleach and a temporary purple dye just for fun. I moved to the front of the store to checkout. I refrained from getting distracted on the interesting products displayed on the edges of the many isles.
After paying I drove back home and went straight to the bathroom. I lay towels everywhere to protect the bathroom and me. I put the bleach solution on the ends of my hair. I played on my phone until it was time to was my hair out. The finished product was an ombre. I watched many YouTube videos to achieve it but it ended up great.
I cooked dinner for my mom and myself. It was sticky rice. We silently ate our meal and quickly finished. I cleaned the kitchen up then got in the shower. I told my mom good bye then layed in bed. I set an alarm for three in the morning because my flight was at five.
