The Story Untold

Cono looked at everyone and wasn't for sure what to say after so he just decided to back up and not say anything more.

"Us shadows aren't much of talkers at first but maybe everyone will fix up and become more comfortable with you being here. We haven't had a new member of our team in a while," Koto said with a hint of laughter in his voice.

"Wait when did i say i would join you all and your freakish "Team" thing. I don't even know what half of the shit you do is."

Koto looked down and sighed, "I'll let you know that tomorrow but for now i think your needed at your home. I'm pretty sure you have someone waiting for you to arrive back on the light side."

Cono eyes went wide as he gasped," Fuck i forgot all about that," Cono said loudly and started running the way he entered "i can't believe i forgot about the time."

As Cono kept going he ran right up to the wall realizing there is no way to get over it himself.

"This isn't helping me at all. I have no time for this!"

Koto followed behind Cono the whole time but not at the same pace as him. He soon came upon Cono and picked him up and pushed him up the wall and laughed as Cono didn't think it was funny. 

"You could have just asked for help Cono instead of staring at the wall thinking of ways to get over yourself" 

Cono glared at him and jumped off the wall to the other side of it. He noticed he still had time to get home as the sun was still peaked over the side of the City. Running home Cono kept making sure he wasn't being followed by anyone as he just wanted to get away from the Shadows or "Creeps" as he called them.

The sun finally set as Cono made it home right when the time came as he barged into the shop and sighed in relief as he stripped out of his jacket and laid his hat onto the table beside the door.

"Hey Dad i'm home!"

Cono didn't hear and answer as it confused him as he crept through the building and not hearing anything or any words be said. Cono then thought that his father might be out as he just brushed it off and went and sat down at a desk and sighed and looked through some papers that were trot out across the desk.

"I wonder what this is all about. We normally never have so much paperwork and papers drawn out across the desk"

Cono studied the papers and read some of them and felt a presence upon him and slowly turned around seeing it being his dad and falling out of his chair.

"What that fuck! What the hell was that all about dad!?"

Cono's Dad laughed at his Cono's reaction as he smiled brightly"You were late son so i decided to give you a small scare."

Cono smiled and stood up" Ha ha very funny but i didn't mean to be gone for so long i just got distracted by something when i was out and time ran by me. So next time please Don't scare the shit out of me."

His dad continued to laugh and soon took a deep breath to calm down"I'm sorry son but i don't care if it was a mistake or not anything could happen while you are out. I haven't told you this but do you know what made your mother go missing when you were only 5?"

He shrugged and looked at his dad and seemed a bit interested in what he was being asked"Well of course not. You would never tell me all you said was that she will be missing for a long time then i took it to mind that she went missing and ended up being dead."

His dad sighed" It was because of the shadows Cono. They took your mother and no one knows what happened to her after that." 

Cono's eyes wen't wide as he turned and ran off to his room and locked the door behind him and looked at the few things he has read about the shadows and thought about different things he has learned from Koto and the different things he has learned about the other shadows as he thought about how they were all known as "teams" so he soon knew there had to be more "teams" than just the one.

"That's it maybe i can get Koto to tell me about the other teams and maybe i'll find out more about my mother and her disappearance"

Cono soon took a break from everything and headed off to bed hoping for the answers he is looking for will soon meet up with him on the next day.
