Gabriella "Ella" Seyfried - a 25 year old single mother and an elder sister unknowingly becomes a victim of a hostile takeover and mafia war when she meets her brother's boyfriend's relatives. She doesn't realizes what she is getting into, until it is too late and her whole world collapses when she comes face to face with reality. But it all becomes worse when she realizes that she has fallen for the person playing her.

Leon "Lion" Deluca - a 28 year old criminal lawyer and business man who likes to keep his side of business all good and legal but being the nephew of New York's don doesn't help you to do that. Family always comes first; but that doesn't mean he is a part of that family. He doesn't get his hands dirty in his uncle's business but when his uncle asks him to get some financial data about his enemy's company, he agrees. Later, he finds his brother's boyfriend's sister works in a firm that he needs data of and decides to use her in his scheme. Little did he know that he will become the victim of his own con one day.
