Academy One Shot

It had been almost eight months since the guys and I left Ashley Waters and started building a life together.

Eight months, and the boys still didn't trust me.

I walked over to Erica's yesterday to borrow a couple of eggs since we ran out. We struck up a conversation, and by the time I had gotten home, all of the boys were practically on a rampage.

So perhaps I had forgotten to take my phone with me or alert anyone where I was going. But it was across the street for goodness sake!

They were completely unfair in their punishment, and now, I was grounded to the house. It wouldn't be so bad except all of the guys were away on assignment again, leaving me completely and utterly bored.

So naturally, I did what any bored person would do: looked up weird videos on youtube.

The past couple of months had been interesting for all of us; the guys were trying to figure out our new relationship, while I was trying to figure out myself.

After finally being free from my family and able to choose what I wanted to do with my life, the possibilities overwhelmed me. Who did I want to be?

I was caught up by everything I discovered on youtube when I was left alone and went through many phases: country, hipster, trendy, girly. I tried everything that appealed to me at the time, and the boys took it all in stride. I was pretty sure they were used to my random shifts in identity by now.

So as I sat by myself looking through videos on my laptop searching for any new things I wanted to try, I came across the most brilliant thing. I think I found my next phase. I grin wickedly.

Victor's POV

We felt bad about leaving Sang this morning, especially after our fight. I was terrified when I had come home to find my Princess gone, but I also understood her need for a bit of independence.

She demonstrated that need long ago through her various explorations of different styles in clothing, music, art, or whatever else she found appealing. We were excited to witness her growing into the person that she wanted to be, a person that she seemed to have yet to discover.

I knew a lot of my brothers currently placed bets on what the next phase would be. I secretly hoped it would be a gentle, ladylike, classical phase. I longed for her to wear dresses and skirts again and show off those gorgeous legs.

Someone poked me, and I shook my head of my thoughts.

"C'mon Victor! The faster we get this done, the faster I can get back to Peanut and see if she's still mad at us."

"Damn Vic, you're getting as bad as Luke." North snorts. I roll my eyes at him and focus on our task. Nathan was right; I wanted to get back to my Princess as soon as possible to fix things between us. I just hoped she wasn't too angry.

Sang's POV

After explaining my idea to Erica, she gleefully agreed with a glint in her eye. I was surprised at her eagerness but glad that she had wanted to help, knowing there was no way I could have done it myself.

I waved at Erica as she walked out the front door. "Thank you for all the help!"

She turned and smirked at me. "Of course, Sang Honey. Trust me, this is as fun for me as it is for you. Knock 'em dead!" We shared a giggle, knowing I might do just that. I walked back to the bathroom we used to prepare everything and started cleaning up.
