Emma's POV

Louis gave me his number so we can stay in touch! I'm so happy I finally have friends! I think but my thoughts are interrupted by my dad.

"Hey sweetie," he said.

"Hi," I reply not happy.

"What's wrong?" He asks

"Nothing can you just leave me alone." I snap back.

"Look I know you aren't very fond of me but how many times do I have to say I'm sorry." He says sincerely.

"You think if you say sorry everything is going to go back to the way it was? We'll your wrong." I snap with tears in my eyes.

I run out the door. I'm not even looking back.

"Hey funny to see you here." I hear a familiar voice say.

I turn around and see Louis.

"Hey!"'I say trying to hide my face.

"Why you hiding that beautiful face of yours?" He asks. He then takes my hands off my face and he sees my tears.

"Why you crying? Are you alright?" He asks worried.

"No I'm not fine and it's my dad but you wouldn't want to listen to my sob story." I say walking away.

"No! I would love to hear it I'm here for you!" He says running after me.

"Fine I'll tell you." We walk and sit at a empty park bench.

"So when I was 5 my dad came home one day and he was drunk. He was an alcoholic.

So he walked in slammed the door and I was sitting on the couch with my mom. She got up to help him. When she did he pushed her back on the couch. He slapped her punched her and did mean stuff to her. I went to go to the phone but he hit me in the head. I passed out. When I woke up my mom was trying to see if I was alive. My dad almost killed me. She said he left. From that day on he never came home. I didn't have a father for 12 years. But last week he called my mom and we came here. And I found out I'm living with him. I hate every minute of it. And he knows it. He thinks if he says sorry I'll forgive him but I won't." I then realize I was crying and so was Louis. He grabbed me into a big bear hug.

"That was the most saddest story ever!" He says sobbing.

He takes me back to his house and I stayed there that night. We hung out and watched movies it was a blast. When I'm with Louis it feels like I can tell him anything. With that I drift off to sleep.
