A/N Hello everybody! I know i started writing this story years ago and had stopped working on it, but i'm happy to say that i'm back and hope that you'll bear with me throughout the story!
"Hello? Earth to Bella"
I blink. "What?"
He chuckles through the phone, "did you hear anything I said?"
I felt my cheeks burn of embarrassment, of course he couldn't see that. "No sorry"
"What I asked was, your gonna be at the game tonight right? We sort of have to talk."
My boyfriend of eight months, Daniel was the quarterback of our school's football team. Cliché right ?
I smiled, "yeah of course I wouldn't dare miss it."
"Well, I'm off to practice for the big game tonight babe, I love you."
"Love you too"
After he hung up, I decided to start on my homework since I probably wouldn't have time after the football game tonight.
It was the first game of our senior year so it was pretty important to Daniel.
After I finished my homework about two hours later I decided to get ready for the game.
I ended up wearing a pair of dark blue shorts, a plain black tee shirt and my white converse. Pretty basic, I know, but I didn't really care about my looks. I always end up wearing the first thing I grab in the morning.
I quickly grabbed my keys, phone, wallet, and jogged downstairs.
"Bye dad, I'm going to the football game" I called as I walked towards the front door.
He poked his head through the kitchen door and smiled, "have fun honey, don't stay out too late!"
I nodded and jogged outside towards my car.
As I made my way out of the driveway, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket.
Sara: Mind picking me up?
I smiled and quickly typed in a reply, then made my way towards my best friend's house.
She was already waiting for me, sitting on the curb as I pulled up next to her.
She hopped in the passengers seat and i drove the rest of the way to school.
"Tonight's the big night" Sara commented as she fumbled with the radio.
"Yeah, Daniel's pretty nervous. Coach's been pretty rough on him since school started."
"Isn't it your anniversary next week?" She asked.
I nodded, "Yeah, nine months and still strong." I said.
She smiled, "God, I hate you. I wish I had a boyfriend who was kind and loyal like him - hell I wish I had a boyfriend period."
We both laughed at her lame joke, "you know, I could always hook you up with one of Daniel's friends" I said in a more serious tone.
She shook her head, "as much as I want a boyfriend, I'm good for now."
~~~~~
"That'll be $3.56" the cashier said.I pulled out a five, "keep the change"
After buying our sodas, Sara and I made our way back to the bleachers.
There was still about a good twenty minutes left before the game began and it already started to get packed.
But that was already expected seeing as it was the first game of the season.
