"No fucking way..." He said, looking at me with astonishment. "Are you serious?"

"Does it look like I'm joking?"

"So I don't hear anything from you for about, what like five years? And the moment you decide to call is to ask for my help for something like this?"

"Look, I only called you because you're one of the few people I trust. But I understand if you refuse." I said standing up.

"You're just gonna leave like nothing happened?" He said. I shrugged. "Keaton, sit down." I sat back on the chair and stared at him.

"You've changed." He said narrowing his eyes.  I sight in frustration "I really don't have time for a psycho evaluation. So are you in or not?"

He buried his face in his palms and took a deep breath.  "Ugh I'm gonna regret this." He said standing up. "Just give me a minute." He went out of the coffee shop taking his phone out of his pocket. He went back in after hanging up. "All done." He said. "You have to go in from the back door, you'll find a guy, Marcus, he'll give you an intern scrubs and a badge."

I smiled at him "Thank you, Jaden. I owe you."

"Hell yeah you do!"  I paid the bill and we went out.

"You're not going to disappear again, are you?"  Jaden said.

"I'll be around. I'll call you as soon as I can. I promise."  I said opening my car's door.

"Hey Keaton. Whatever the reason you're doing this, be careful."

"I always am, Cousin."
