Home-Dumping Ground Fanfiction

It was a long ride, but eventually we got there. Elm Tree House. My social worker, Jean, opened the car door for me and I got out. I didn't say anything. I didn't even look at her. I didn't want to look at her, after what she did. Took me away from my friends. They're miles away from here, and I'll probably never see them again.

"Cheer up, Maia." She said behind me, but I didn't turn around I just carried on walking to the doors, she followed me, then knocked on them. A girl answered.

"You must be the new girl? I'm Tee, come on in, I'll just go get Mike and Gina."

"Thank you, pet." Jean said as we stepped inside. A man welcomed us.

"Hello Jean"

"Hello Mike"

"Ah, you must be Maia? Welcome to Elm Tree House!" He said smiling, I just gave a little smile.

"Maia. That's a nice name" Tee said grinning.

"Thanks" I said quietly.

"Well, Tee, why don't you show Maia around, while I sort some things out." Mike went into the office as Jean followed. Tee smiled and went down the hallway into the living room as I followed. Everybody was bellowing and running around. Then they all noticed me and stopped what they were doing.

"Who are you?" A loud girl shouted with long hair.

"Everybody, meet Maia." Tee said, as I just looked around awkwardly.

"Hi Maia" A little blonde boy said, I smiled at him.

"Does she talk?" A girl said, wearing big boots with bits of blue in her hair "I don't really care who she is." she shoved passed me.

"Don't mind her. She's like that with everyone." Said a boy with brown hair wearing plaid. Everybody seemed to take their focus off me and went back to what they were doing, though two girls came up to me. One had beautiful long brown hair and the other was an Asian girl who had a really nice smile.

"Hi! I'm Autumn, and this is Hyona." the girl with brown hair said and the other girl smiled and waved.

"Also, before you judge, I am not Chinese, I am Korean..." Hyona said quickly.

"She's had to deal with people calling her Chinese and making fun of her. Racist arseholes." Autumn said. I smiled at Hyona and she smiled back.

"Hey let's give Maia a tour." Tee said, Autumn and Hyona nodded and we followed Tee.
