Four girls and the escape

"Intro to the Four Girls"

California is full of people, and somehow four of these totally different people meet and end up being great friends; although each girl has a story and each girl wants to escape their own reality. You will be reading a short audio biography by each of the girls. The first is 14 year old Cassy. She's the lesbian friend that's competitive and sometimes irritating. She plays hockey, loves to draw, and plays 10 instruments. Cassy may sometimes be harsh and rude but deep down she loves and cares for her friends deeply. (Cassy's reason for wanting to escape reality, when Cassy was 10 she was sexually abused by her cousin, thus bringing Cassy to self -harm. Cassy is also bullied by other people at hockey and school which brought her to have an eating disorder.) The next friend is 14 year old Olive. She's a drama student and technician. Olive is extremely shy and quite, she can also be very passive aggressive at times. Although Olive is so quite she has a lot on her mind that wants to express so she writes poems and short stories for the school news paper. (Olive's reason for wanting to escape reality, Olive had to move away from all her friends when she was 10, she was not accepted by her family for being pansexual and was forced to be a Christian.) The third friend is Brenda. Brenda is the spunky, hilarious, optimistic friend everybody wants to be around. She's a 15 year old dancer who wants to grow up to be a choreographer. Brenda may sometimes seem like a bubble head but she's definitely smart in fact she's an all A, B student. (Why Brenda wants to escape reality. Brenda is very boy crazy and it sometimes gets her into trouble, she is always stressed out and on the go. Nobody sees the real Brenda everyone just thinks she's a talented pretty face and it doesn't go much further than that.) Lastly we have Veronica, but everyone calls her V for short. V is a 15 year old cheerleader. She's laid back and chill most of the time your average girl next door. But she definitely keeps the other girls out of trouble, V is you can say, the voice of reason. Cassy may think she's uptight but V is just trying to do what's best for her friends. (Why Veronica wants to escape reality. Veronica's parents foster 3 other kids and adopted a little 4 year old and they are rarely home. For the most part they don't really pay attention to Veronica, and she's always left home with the kids. Veronica struggles to keep up her grades in school, staying on top of cheer practice, maintaining the house, and two dogs all while babysitting her family.) So that's the four girls Cassy, Olive, Brenda, and Veronica: below will be some extra info to help you image what the girls might look, act, and talk like; or you can continue to the next chapter to see how the story plays out.
Facial and body Looks
1. Cassy. 5'5", Colombian/Brazilian: brown eyes, just below the shoulders black raven hair, arched eyebrows, large chest, waist, and collar bone. Cut scars and marks on wrists, stomach, and thighs. Muscular arms and legs.
2. Olive. 5'1", American/Canadian: blue eyes, shoulder length magenta hair, large chest, small waist, stocky build, dainty smile.
3. Brenda. 5'7", Mexican: blue eyes, long black Raven hair, perfect smile, medium muscular build.
4. Veronica. 5'3", Mexican/Italian: hazel eyes, long brown hair, muscular build, small stress marks around eyes, along with small bags from exhaustion.
Clothing
1. Cassy wears flannels, jeans, bracelets, skater shirts, snapbacks, and for shoes Vanz, or Nike. (Note Cassy wears gauges and always has earbuds with her and a backpack with art supplies and song lyrics.)
2. Olive wears band shirts, ripped leggings with super short shorts, flower crowns or beanies, bracelets, chokers, and for shoes Converse or DC. (Note Olive wears dark emo makeup has an industrial piercing and gauges.)
3. Brenda wears sleeveless hoodies, jeans or athletic pants, snapbacks and for shoes Vanz or Nike. (Note Brenda wears earrings and sometimes chains.)
4. Veronica wears shirts from forever 21, ripped jeans or ripped mini shorts, and for shoes Vanz occasionally Toms or Uggs. (Note Veronica wears earrings, and always has a purse or satchel.)
