Once there was a child. She held her heart in her arms and it was very plain to see. In her heart she held her parents and she would show anyone she came across. She showed them her love and made them smile at her enthusiasm. But as her years on this earth grew she began to see why everyone else held their hearts on the inside. If your heart was left on the outside it would start to gather wounds and scars. It would start to shrink and rust with age. Many many years ago it was found that this process could be delayed if only the heart was on the inside. This was such a simple solution but it had consequences. As years passed it became harder and harder to express emotions. That is why they all smiled at the child when she showed them her heart. She had the courage or perhaps the innocence to let her feelings roam free. And to them that was simply amazing.
