I woke up to the heavy rain and thunder I checked the time it was 2:30 in the morning, I could feel Ken shaking.
I picked him up and went to the bedroom, I climbed in placing him down gently and tucked him. I tossed and turned and couldn't get to sleep the storm was loud and it didn't seem like it was going to stop anytime soon.
My heart sank, a cold gust of hair hit my neck and I have the feeling someone was watching me, I froze I couldn't move I slowly place my arm around Ken and pulled him close to protect him just in case something happened.
Ally you're just imagining things stop working yourself up I though to myself, with a pounding heart I started to fall asleep.
I woke up to the sound of my phone going off, I rolled over and looked at my lock screen. It was shay my best friend.
"Good morning" I said
"I'll be there in 20" was all she said before hanging up
At first I was confused and then it hit me,
"FUCK it's the first day of school" I said to nobody I quickly go out of bed and had a shower. I looked out side and the storm was still going but wasn't as heavy.

I got dressed, and did some light make up and lightly curled my hair. I walked out to my kitchen to see Shay had fed Ken and was giving him belly tickles,
"I took him for a walk and toilet break"
"Oh you blessing thank you so much"
I grabbed my bag and we left.
We arrived at school 20 minutes later with 10 minutes til the bells We made our way to our locker and got out books for first period, I had art and shay had English. The bell rang and we went our separate ways.
"I'll see you at lunch baby girl" said shay
"Okay sweetness" I winked
she hugged me and left
When I got to class I took my normal seat, the day went by in a flash, it was last period and I had science. We were doing an experiment today, we were put in pairs and I was with the hottest guy in school who also happened to be a vampire. During the experiment Josh (the super hot vampire) put the wrong chemical in casing an explosion, leading to us getting a detention after school.
The teacher walked away and I pulled my phone out to text shay not to wait up. I turned to Josh who had a smirk on his face
"I'm sorry I honestly didn't mean that"
"it's fine" I sound annoyed
For the rest of the lesson I just sat there doing nothing, Josh tried to talk to me but I just ignored him. The bell rang to signal the end of class and whilst everyone was getting their stuff to leave me and Josh sat there quietly.
Mr Johnston said he had to go see the principle and we were not to talk or leave the room. Josh walked over to the door once he was gone to leave but we were locked in I rolled my eyes at him for his pathetic attempt to leave. For the rest of the time we stayed in silence, I put my hand on my face to rest my head.
Mr Johnson returned an hour later and let us go, I grabbed my bag and half stormed out.
