Behind The Scenes

Who?

An: Reece and Dee were the only two people in the hospital room, everybody else went home, apart from Adrian,he was working.

Reece stood up and walked over to Dee, he grabbed her hand and kissed it. Dee's eyes shot open but Reece didn't see. "I love you." Reece whispered. "I love you too." Dee's voice was no more than a whisper,somehow Reece heard. He looked at her in shock. "My leg hurts, so does my stomach." Dee started crying, the pain was unbearable. "Baby don't cry, I'll be right back, I'll go get Adrian." Reece ran out the room.

Dee's vision became blurred, she was panicking until she heard footsteps. "Oh your back already, that was quick. Where's the doctor, I'm not feeling too-" Dee didn't get to finish her sentence. "Reece isn't here to save you, you know, you took the one person I loved from me. You left me alone,you've hurt me, broke my heart. I should've killed you when I had the chance, if only the bullet hit your heart." Whoever was speaking to Dee had a voice modulator. Dee's vision was a little hazy but she could see that the person pulled out a knife.

"REECE!" Dee shouted as the knife got closer to her skin. "Reece isn't coming, you're worthless, your scum, Reece can do better." The person let out a hollow laugh. "Who are you, you're not allowed in here!" Adrian shouted, the person jumped out of the window,the hospital was three storeys high.

Adrian looked back at Dee. "Are you okay?" He frowned as Reece ran to the window. "I'm fine, who are you?" Dee asked. Adrian opened his mouth to speak when Reece started speaking. "They're gone. How did they disappear?" Reece shouted, his fists bunched up.

"Reece calm down!" Dee started to get out of the hospital bed. "Honey, you have to stay in bed." Adrian put Dee back in to bed. "Do you know who that could've been?" Adrian looked at Dee and Reece, they both shook their head. "You didn't answer my question. Who are you?" Dee questioned. Adrian let out a long sigh.

"I'm your real father. I'm sorry Dee, I'm sorry I wasn't around. I loved your mother but she didn't love me,she denied me access to seeing you. I wanted to be in your life, trust me I did. I still do, will you let me be a part of your life?" Adrian asked. Dee didn't say anything. Reece motioned for her to speak. "I live a dangerous lifestyle-" Dee was cut off. "You?" Adrian smirked, Dee shrugged. "I know how to protect myself. I just want my daughter to be safe, I've missed a lot of things,your a beautiful, young woman now. I'm proud of you baby." Adrian smiled.

"There's a note." Reece pointed to the corner. The note read "keep your friends close and your enemies closer." "What?" Reece rubbed the back of his neck. "You've got to be kidding me." Dee put her head in her hands. "You know what it means?" Adrian folded his arms. "The person who is trying to kill me is someone close to us. It's one of our friends."
