It was late winter snow on the ground, I didn't have any more cross country courses because its was winter, it will start up again next year. I asked my mom if she could take me to the stables (I usually ride my bike but it was far to cold) she said yes of corse.
I got to the stables and walked up to my beautiful buckskin 8year old mare her name is rainbow but I call her bow for short her breed is a purebred Arabian. She is really nice but she can have her Arabian attitude still but I still love her to pieces! She had her blue with pink poke'a'dot blanket on, i took of her blanket and her coat was shining so pretty! I put her in the pasture with Mecca the 17 year old gelding (he was her pasture buddy) then I went back to her stall to clean it.
I came back to the pasture to get rainbow (bow) so we can go on a ride, I called rainbow "come'n bow, come here girl"
She came up covered in mud! I look at her and said "what happened ur coat was all shiny now it's covered in mud!" She didn't seem to mind it. I walked her back to the stable and tied her up to the wash rack I started to groom her it took me about 40min it get all the mud off! thank goodness I didn't have my dressage lesson till later today,
I tacked her up, we went to the big field and trotted around I galloped for a little but then I saw something in the distance it was a black horse, it wasn't one from are stable. I was curious so I dismounted and tied up Bow to a tree and walked slowly up to the black horse it seemed kinda skittish so I tried to walk a slow as I could, I got like 4 feet away from the black horse but then she reared up and galloped away, it made me even more curious about the black horse. I was determined to find out about that horse. i planned on going back tonight after my dressage lesson.
I got back on Bow and cantered back to the stables, I got there and dismounted I untacked her and groomed her, I put her blanket back on her to keep her warm. I put her grain in her stall then walked her in. She whinnied then continued eating, I walked over to the locker room it wasn't very big it just had a few cubby holes to put you back packs in I got my hat out of my bag and put it on my ears were freezing! I walked back over to her stall and just hung out with her for a little bit.
My mom showed up and said it was time To go I said bye to my beautiful girl and grabbed my bag and got into the car, I was coming back for my dressage lesson tonight and after my lesson planning on going to find that black horse in the field.

I wasn't really sure how to end the first chapter but I hope you guys like it and I will be making chapter 2 soon! And it should be a little more dramatic
