Day 1 (Continue)

Alex's POV

It seems odd that on my first day of work I got asked out by a guy.... That was new. I walked over to my next patient. I grab their file and looks at it. 

Well this is a weird case.

"So um Sir?" I ask really confused. "So you fell off a bench and attempted to get a brain injury. How high was that bench from the ground?" I ask. Clearly this has never happened before so this is kind awkward. I mean how does a guy fall off a bench and damage his head. I looked at all the scans, and his head seemed pretty tough. I guess it must of hit a soft spot. I look at another set of scans. 

Wow....He did attempt to crack his head. Bloody Hell mate. You need talent to do that.

"Anyway. Just stay here and we will sure to help you. I call Eliot over and gave the patient to her. She just takes it and then I head over to somewhere else. I pass by Carla and she stops me for a sec and I talk to her. "Hey Alex, hows it goin?" "Good how are you?" "Good thanks." Carla looks at me. "Hey JD is a nice guy even though hes really stupid. Just be nice to him." I nod my head. "Of course. Why would I be mean?" Carla shrugs and smiles. "Just be nice." I nod and smile and then someone hands me a sheet of paper and I walk down the hall while looking at it. I walk into Doctor Cox's office. "What are you doing here?" he asks me. "Just handing you papers because apparently people don't want to do that job." I reply putting the papers on his desk. "Well then." he looks at the paper and stands up and starts walking telling me to come with him. "I'm going to leave you with the kids." He then walks off leaving me looking at him dumbfounded. 

Me with kids!?!? Are you insane?!

I just sigh and walk over to the kids section of the hospital. I see a little girl run up to me. I smile. "Hello." I say smiling. "Hello. My name's Emma." She has little blond pig tails and blue eyes. She was cute. "Hello Emma, My name's Alex." Emma smiles. "A guy said you could help me with my hair." "What guy?" I ask. She points to a guy ahead of me. 

JD?!

I see the guy and smiles and waves. "Alright. What do you want your hair in?" I ask. The little girl takes my hand and drags me to her bed and she sits in it and shows me a picture of two pigtail braids. I smile. "Yeah sure." I smile and she hands me a brush and a couple of hair bands. I started brushing her hair. I see Emma drawing a little picture. "Hey Alex?" I start doing her pigtail braids. "Yeah?" I answer. "Can you be my hospital doctor?" she asks. I smile and finish the pigtails. "Of course i can." I say. I kiss her forehead. Emma giggles and hugs me. "Thanks." she hands me the picture. I smile and takes the picture. "I'm going to hang this on my wall." Emma smiles and someone hands me another sheet of paper. This is my last one for the day. I walk and checks that person out after saying good bye to Emma. 

JD's POV

It's nice to see how people can be nice to kids. They can love kids. I look at my next client. I walk over to her. "Mrs. Yang." I reply looking at the papers. "You have Thyroid Cancer and you want to get it treated. Is that correct?" The woman nods. "Alright. So when did you get here?" "Yesterday." I nod. "Alright. You should be treated first thing tomorrow morning." Mrs. Yang smiles. "Thank you." I say goodbye and puts the document next to her table. Now off I go to my date.
