Oh yes. They're so fucking bad and have so many cliches scattered about. Literally every fanfiction I've read, the protagonist(if I could even call it that) is some edgy emo fuck that cuts themselves.

This is practically every first chapter:

My parents don't give a shit bout me. They abused me and then died in a car crash. I'm depressed so I cut myself hurr durr. I get sick of this and take a walk into the woods, then I hear this weird ringing noise and I look. There's a man with no face. OMG! ITS SLENDERMAN.

"Come with me child. You will now be my proxy." He says to me. I fangirl as he takes me to the Slender mansion. OMG! THERES JEFF. I squeal and run over there to hug him. I then go insane and fall in love with him.

Ah yes, the classic abusive parents cliche and my parents died in car crash cliche. I get sick and fucking tired of reading that overused plot. It's like being forced to read the same damn book over and over. You clearly lack creativity if you use that in your fanfiction.

Also, how the FUCK do they own a mansion that's so deep in the woods thats so conveniently located near the protagonist's house? How are they rich enough to own a mansion? Are they some hired hitmen or some shit? (That actually sounds like a good idea tbh. The hired hitmen thing.)

And the protagonist going insane in the first chapter? Last time I checked, you can't lose you sanity at that quick. I'm pretty sure you have to have it worn down over time. Make the pastas torture them or some shit. Give them time, god damnit!

Please please please don't use any of these cliches. I will end up throwing my phone against a wall someday.
