Percy Jackson

I'm Percy Jackson. I was a pawn in the war against Gaea. And I lost the one I loved the most. Its officially been a year sice Annabeth Chase closed the doors. It was my fault. I couldn't save her. I spent the past year hoping to see her grey eyes and blonde curls again. But I didn't.

We won the war. But I felt useless. How could they take my wise-girl? I was just another idiot who helped the gods. Yet I didn't realize this until now. I remember everything as if it was yesterday. Annabeth had looked up at me,through the crowd of monsters, surrounding me. Her gaunt pale face tired...yet determined. I desperately tried to get her, slashing at the monsters. I saw the remaining seven fighting around me,none noticing Annabeth. As she began to close the doors she yelled one last thing to me, " I love you, seaweed brain!" And the doors shut. I remember Gaea's menacing laugh, threatning me. Her face still haunts me at night.

And now she was gone. I felt numb. What was I now? I was a shell of a person. Shattered. Alone. Afraid.

You know why?

Because I lost Annabeth Chase. To a stupid war.

I was nothing, without my lifeline.

Annabeth Chase.
