Chapter 15

2 weeks later

Chres Pov

I groaned as I swung the covers off me and got up to a crying Issac. I put on my adidas slippers and dragged my feet across the floor all the way into his room. I looked at the clock on the wall and read the time which was 2:54 am. I leaned over the crib and picked Isaac up, cradling him in my arms. He wouldn't stop crying and I didn't want to wake his mom so I took him downstairs and gave him milk.

Soon he stopped crying and slowly began to close his eyes while still sucking on the bottle.

I headed up the stairs with him still in my arms and passed my room, peaking my head in to make sure Alissa was still sleep. Once I saw that she was and that she was breathing, I headed towards the babies room and slowly lied Issac down in his crib and took his bottle out his mouth and sat it down on the nearest thing next to me.

I watched as he fell back asleep with his tiny hand in his mouth sucking on his little fingers. It made me smile and stay a while to admire my son. I'm really glad Alissa was the first and is the last person to bring my children in this world. I can't believe we made him I bet my grandma would be so proud of me if she were here today.

I felt arms slither around my torso and something lay on my back, breaking me from my thoughts. I jump and look back to see Alissa with her arms around me while her head lied on my back.

"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you." She laughed and by the sound of her voice I can tell she was still tired.

I turned around and wrapped my arms around her waist so her head now lied on my chest." Its okay baby but what are you doing out of bed this early?"

"I woke up to Isaac crying." She yawned. "I was gonna get him but I heard you get up before I even opened my eyes." She said.

"Well he's my son too I'm not gonna let you do all the work and keep waking up to get him in the middle of the night so I got him baby now go back to bed." I kissed the top of her head.

"Come with me." She pouted while sticking her bottom lip out.

Aww she's so cute when she's tired.

"Okay come on." I picked her up bridal style and she snuggled into me while closing her eyes.

I walked back into the room and lied her down while lifting the cover to get in bed with her. I pulled the cover up on the both of us then wrapped my arms around her waist.

"I love you." She whispered barely audible but I still heard her.

"I love you too." I said while we drifted off to sleep.

Later that morning.

Alissa Pov

11:56 am

I had Issac in my arms with his chubby cheeks on my shoulder and one hand supporting his back while my arm was holding his bottom. I was on my way up the stairs because chres hasn't woke up yet and he knows we have to go over to my dad's because he's having a little get together with both of our families.

Yes my dad and I worked things out and I am beyond happy because we had a really close relationship and it hurt when I found out he didn't want anything to do with me just cause I was having a baby with Chresanto. Everything went well when he came to visit at the hospital two weeks ago he just needed time like I thought, but he's over it and he loves Isaac so much it makes me proud because it is his first grandchild.

I walked into our room and shifted Issac in one arm.

Chres had the cover on his lower half of his body and lied on his stomach so you could see his bare back while his face was facing towards us.
