"Let's just go out. We can go to a club and have some drinks. I dunno maybe we'll get a little....frisky?" Marisa says with a mature tone in her voice trying to make me forget the date.
"As much as I would love to hit up a bar with you and make out with strangers, it's just that day. The day where I just want to focus on them. I need to stay in and talk to them. Or did you forget that it is August 15?" I say trying to make my point.
"Oh no I remember. But please go out with me tonight! It'll take your mind off of them."
Before you start wondering, I am Avyy. Or Avren but everyone calls me Avyy.  This is my best friend Marisa. She is....well....Marisa. There are no words to describe her. She has been at my side forever. And through the hardest part of my life. Losing my parents. I was an only child. They died in a house fire that was set on. It wasn't an accident. I was only 14 so I couldn't go on by myself. I was put into and orphanage and I was adopted by the Lancaster's who were neighbors to Marisa. August 15 was when the fire was set. I am 22 now. And I live with Marisa. She's the drinker of the house. I have had many bumps along the way but enough about that.
"Ok I will go with you. But only for two drinks."
   "Ten."
"Seven is as high and I am going."
   "Ok."
