Years had passed, 16 in fact.
And only one thing had changed, the meaning of life. Strange happenings have occured in the last year or so, people have gone missing and many bodies have been found. There is no pattern to these murders, they just happen.

I was walking down the street on an early saturday morning, the air was fresh and crisp and the wind was cold and mysterious. My house was in sight, i was about 30 meters away from it when... I heard a deafening scream, My heart was racing, I bolted toward my house and and barged through the front door.

My mother was curled up in a ball crying.
“Mother what has happened, where’s Elliot”
“He took him” she said in a droaned out voice. She raised her arm as if it was lead, and pointed to the back door.
I ran out to the back garden, everything was silent as if nothing had happened, as if no-one had took my 7 year old brother.

The police had been informed that there was a missing person, they said there is nothing they can do there is just too much for them to deal with. I ran upstairs to my room, i grabbed a backpack, a jacket and a torch then I ran to the kitchen and grabbed a knife and wrapped it in a tea towel. i shoved everything in the backback alondg with some biscuits ans a chocolate bar.
"im going out mum, but dont worry im going to get Elliot back"
"its too Dang..."
I ran out of the door before she had chance to finish her sentance.

I ran in the direction that my mother pointed to previously in went for about 10 minuites untill i came to the alley. I hadn't been here for years I wondered if she still lived here, the woman who had the child? I saw her, she was no longer young and gorgeous, she was looking old. I approached her.
"excuse me have you seen someone, carrying a young child?"
" I dont Know" she said,
"where's your child?"
"grown up"
"what school does he go to"
"he dosent go oo a chool" her speech was becoming lasy and she started to fall to one side. I has heard of symptons like these, she was having a stroke. I dragged her out of the alley and over to the pavement. I shouted for help but no-one came.
