I sit at the edge of my bed, gripping the mattress with my nails as I listen to my sisters screech.
"Jay? Jay can you come here please?"
The words from Jayces mouth showed he was trying to remain calm, but was failing. Slowly, I stood up and trudged towand the door and open it, shooting Natalie a look, my eyes and face saying "Stay.""Jayden. Come a bit faster. You're the only one who knows about this. Please hurry sis." Emma's voice sounded panicked, as it should. The only thing I'm good at that Emma, Jayce and Natalie aren't is crime scenes and blood spatters and such. So naturally, I had assumed there was blood.
I was right. As I entered the room I saw a crimson splatter in the corner. The fresh blood was on two walls and slightly on the floor. I looked at the splatter closely and noticed the shot must had been fired at close range.
I look up to the shuttered door of my parents closet and noticed a piece of paper.
A suicide note. From my Father.
I stared at the blood again, feeling relieved yet a ping of pain was lingering over me. I looked at the wall and realized one thing. There was no body.
