My dirty blond curls bounce as I jump up and down on Vanessa's bed.
"And I know now,that am so down,hey,hey!"Nathan ends.
He jumps down from the bed and grabs his Science text book.
"That's enough singing,now,
let's actually have a study date like we told our moms,"he says.
"Oh,alright.."I sigh,and leap down.
Suddenly,the door flies open and standing in the doorway is an unhappy looking Vanessa.
"Olivia Rosa Warren and Nathan James Reynolds,GET OUT OF MY ROOM,NOW!"she hollered. We run as fast as we can to my room across the hall.
"Roe,ready?"Nathan asks me.
Roe,only Nathan can call me that special nickname for me.
When we met in the park after he crashed into me,and he heard my middle name was Rosa,he wanted to call me Roe,
because he knew every one would call me Liv or Livvy,but he wanted to have a special name to call me,one no one would have thought to say.
"Yeh,"I sigh,I hate,absolutely hate,to study,but,I have to anyway.Me and Nathan are straight A students and I come 1st,him 2nd.Once,in 4th grade he beat me by .5 a mark and I came 2nd,he never forgot that.
We study for an hour or so,then I hear mom's van pull up.
"I best be off,see you Monday,"
he smirks that smirk I love so much.I smile back.
"Monday,"
"Monday."
"Wait!"I shout as he reaches for the door.
"Huh?"he asks.
"Friendship code..."
"Oh,yeh!"he cries.
We clap twice,bow elegantly,
snap twice,clap each other's hand upwards 5 times,then pledge the friendship code,
"I hear by promise,I will always be a faithful,butt-kicking hero and friend to you.Through the dust and shadows of a zombie or robot apocalypse or through an alien invasion,may we have each other's back.I pledge this friendship code,always to love and serve and save the world,
TUCANTOTUS! to Nath&Roe......"
Tucantotus means love good and kill evil,it's our code language and that was our friendship code.
