Chapter 1: Seeing Him At School
It was Monday. Another boring day at school! I saw my ex-boyfriend at the door. I knew he was coming to me but I walked the other way. I still love him a lot but I don't know what to do. "Hey Mari, Please I need to explian to you please!?" he said. "There's nothing to explian Dylan." i said.He grabbed my arm and said, "Please. Mari. I still love you! Please give me a second chance?" "Why sould I after what you did to me." i said. He kissed another girl. "You kissed Lexi!!" I said yelling at him. "No I didn't. She kissed me. I told her I had a girlfriend and she just went and kiss me. Please believe me Mari. Please." he said. He looked really sad, but I didn't know what to do. "Please Mari." he said again. "I don't know yet. I have to think about it." i said walking away. I heard him say I love you quietly when I was walking away.
I saw my friends down the hall. "Hey Mari." They both said. "Hey guys." I said quietly. "What's wrong?" Mary said. "Oh nothing, I just saw Dylan a minute ago. He looked upset and sad." I said. "I think he is really telling the truth. He looked upset last week. He been talking about you on twitter." Mary said. Mary was one of my closest friends in school. I trust her with everything. "he did! What he say." I said. "He said he misses you and loves you Mari he talks about you 24/7 I think he's telling the truth" she said. "Well I don't know yet?" I said confused. "Mari here's a question? Do you still love him?" she said looking serious. "Yes I do still love him." I said. "Then give him a second chance Mari." she said like she is asking for forgiveness.
I thought about it the whole about what my best friend said. the question kept popping up in my head. "Do you still love him?" a voice in my head said. I was thinking about it. The bell rang for after school I had a club to go to though. That is another extra hour. He also had clubs also. Then I saw him walking in the halls. He saw me so I walked the other way. "Mari wait up?" he said. " What is it now Dylan?" I said turning around. "I was just wondering if you thought about it?" he said. "Yeah I did." I said quietly. "I have to think about it more though." I said again.
I walked away leaving him behind. I felt so bad. I really love him a lot. He is sweet and kind. He is always loving. I don't even think he would even kiss a girl. I think he is really telling the truth. I was almost the end of clubs. It was like 2 minutes left. The bell finally rang so I was free to go home! I saw him again in the halls. He looked really sad. I went over to him and said, "Hey Dylan." "Hey." he said. He was still sad. "Mind if I walk with you home?" I said. We live close to eachother. He lived in my neighborhood, so he wasn't very far. "Sure, i guess so." he said. He looked confused.
We were walking home together. "So hey.. Uhm..Are you telling the truth Dylan?" I said looking serious. "Yes, I am really telling the truth. I would never hurt you Mari." he said. "Well you have a second chance to fix this." I said looking at him, stopping. "Really? You would?" He said surprised. "Yes Dylan!" I said hugging him. We hugged for a long time. I missed his hugs. They were warm and cozy! "I missed you Mari!" he said almost about too cry. He felt really sorry. "It's ok. I forgive you and I missed you so much Dylan!" I said about to cry. He held me so close to him! I thought I would never hug him again.
"Hey Mari. May I ask you something?" he said. "Sure." i said back. "Will you go to prom with me as my date?" he said holding my hands. I started crying because I thought it was so amazing! "Yes I would love to!" I said excited. I jumped in his arms and he spinned me around. I was so happy to be back with him. He was something special that I couldn't let go of.
